Basically, we connect a sling with wires wrapped up to the balancer. When we pull an AV equipment rack out of the closet, the wires extend. When we push it back, they retract and are pulled up off of the floor so they don't get caught in the wheels of the rack.We may use a lot of these. BUT, I noticed no change when we tried to adjust the tension. The adjustment screw seems to make no difference.
