**Q: Will sound pass through well? I'm looking for a replacement foam speaker cover (intercom). Currently it's 3/4" to 1" thick (could be less thick).**
A: read previous answer. Media will pass air for cooling circulation, and would pass sound as well. How well it would pass sound, I can't determine from my application.

**Q: is anyone using this as PC dust filters? saw same product on youtube and guy said it was not affecting air flow?**
A: Yes, on the air intake for a rack mounted power amp. It works well.

**Q: When you hold this 30 ppi filter up to the light, can you see through it? thank you.**
A: I can see specs of light through it, but I cannot see what is on the other side. It is opaque but lets specs of light through.

**Q: Would this work for my ventless whirlpool dryer bottom filter?**
A: That's a question to ask a Whirlpool dealer.
