What type of plastic is the lead encased in?

I am not a professional about material . I got this when my kitty got a radio treatment. It is a thick, dense, non stretchy plastic which give me 100 percent confidence about security.

The item description says, "Medium" and "Large" but there are no size options when ordering. What size does this come?
