i saw one review on amazon to indicate the keyboard is backlight. I also saw it on youtube reviews with light levels of off, medium and high.

I have bought 3 laptops thru Microsoft though the years and never had any shipping issues. If you read through their policies as I have, it is to a persons advantage to TRY OUT the laptop and have the ability to return laptop if something is wrong and not be charged. I have returned a couple of laptops and had no problems.
