Sterling Slim Gym Climbing Rope

I wouldn't use this rope for outdoor rock climbing but it looked and worked as good as anything I have seen at indoor climbing gyms. I bought this for roof work, I use a grigri and my climbing belt when doing roof work. Much easy and safer then the commercial roofing safety harness. I needed some "good enough rope" that was cheap to replace when it gets damage. Great stuff for my job.

This is a real climbing rope but might not be suitable for rock climbing. I used this rope for climbing trees in my yard using prusik loops for ascending. The prusik did not work with the soft core ropes you find an Home Depot. But they work with this firm core climbing rope. I would recommend this rope to anyone who is interested in using it for climbing either for training or work around the home.

Great rope for gym

Great rope. I put it to use the day it came in the mail. Feeds through an ATC and grigri with ease. Lite weight. Love the color. I definitely reccomend this rope to others.

It says gym rope, but I'm using it outside. I needed a shorter rope. ( 30 meters )It seems that the outter sheath is more abrasion resistant than some other ropes. So far it's held up very well doing rappelling out in the elements. It is a little bit stiffer than my other ropes, probably due to the abrasion resistance.

I purchased this rope to use specifically at the gym. It's length is great as the highest wall in gym is 45 feet. I noticed lots of other people flaking out 60m or even more lenght rope. That's way too much work. I've taken some pretty good falls on it and have had absolutely no issues. I ended up putting a colored piece of tape on one end so I could keep track of which end I've been tying into so I can stretch the rope properly.

This is a really nice rope. It is very smooth and moves nicely. It has good dynamic stretch as well.

Good quality rope. I use it in the gym with 40-45 foot high walls and it is the perfect length. Beats having to pull out me old 60 footer. I use it for shorter stuff on the rock too and haven't had any problems yet.
