SKLZ Power Stick Baseball and Softball Training Bat for Strength

I use this bat with my high school team. My favorite part is that it is relatively close to the same weight of the bats they use in the game so it still has the same feel, just a much smaller barrel to connect with. I also bought 48 Multi-Color, Foam, Golf Ball-Sized, Indoor/Outdoor, Limited Flight, Practice Balls in Metal, Range-Style Bucket to use with this. It's a great combination and really helps improve hand eye coordination. We have our players call out the color of the ball as they swing to add another step of truly seeing the ball not just taking a swing at something. Over time just like any other bat I assume I will have to replace the grip but other than that I'm super pleased with the quality of this bat. I would recommend it to any coach of kids at least 12 years old.

I have a 7 yr old boy who can now hit kid pitch balls into the outfield on the fly. I bought him a new $100 28" bat @ 16oz and this power stick. he was using a 26" bat @ 16oz and couldn't swing it with the same velocity and control. after working with the little yellow golf balls and the 30oz weight of this bat he can swing the new bat faster and with more control than either bat prior to working with this one. He swings it 20-30 times before every game and knock the heck out of the ball in the game. If you want better bat speed and hand (bat) coordination this is the magic bullet! My son wants to swing this and i no longer have to encourage him to grab it. He has finally gained confidence in the batters box.

Good sturdy batting aid. If possible purchase black and yellow heavier whiffle balls. They work much better than the ones bat comes with.

Well worth the money. Teaches hand eye coordination as well as bat speed with it being slightly weighted.

We love the heavier weight of this bat for our 7 year old to train with. He says it makes his bat feel so light and has greatly increased his bat speed.

Great product

This heavy stick is great for hitting practice. The contrast of this versus the 'normal' SKLZ stick bat allows you to work on several different aspects of your mechanics as well as building up hand strength and speed. The skinny barrel swinging at the small balls also works to focus the hand-eye coordination. If you buy this, pick up another pack of the SKLZ small balls because the three balls that come with this don't last long.

重さは850gと少々重めに思えますが、実際振ってみると短いため軽く感じます。細いので空を切る音でヘッドが走っているか確認できるところが気に入っています。YouTubeや野球中継でテンションが上がってもすぐに室内で素振りやティーバッティング出来るので毎日使っています。
