Muck Boots Apex Mid Zip Wellingtons Black/Dark Shadow

Waited a long time with these in my basket to come down in price. Fantastic boots. Warm, comfortable and fully waterproof. Love them.

My first impression of this boot was not very good. Within 1 week of purchase, both boots failed when the zip fastener spilt in front of the zip. Fortunately, the zip was not fully up, so I was able to remove the boots. I contacted the seller, who initially offered me some money as recompense or to pay towards a repair!! This was a £100 pair of boots! Not very impressed with this, I pursued the matter and sent them back (at my cost) The seller then provided me with a replacement pair. On arrival, I have added some light oil to the zips of both boots, to ensure the zips run smoothly. I have now had these boots for 2 months, and worn them for walking the dog and garden tasks. The boots are very comfortable, easy to take on and off and very practical.

These boots are not good. Whilst they are comfortable they are not well suited to mud and water! The zips clog up and get stuck. It did not take long for the zips to break completely. In addition, it me of the velcrose straps came off. This cannot be repaired. Muck company customer services are rubbish.

These are a great fit , comfortable, warm and waterproof. Came for Amazon US in about a week. Ordered as an 8 (US9) and fit perfect. Cheapest on the internet

These are a great idea, short waterproof boot. They're quite warm, fully waterproof for shallow puddles, but the zip is of far too low a quality for such an expensive boot. Mine failed after less than 30 wearings. I have invested in a pair of pull on ones instead and this would be my advice to anyone thinking of our basing this zipped version.

This is a great manufacturer and a quality product. I needed a lower cut boot for working in the spring and fall, tilling the garden, feed plots and property clean up. Great fit, comfortable, warm, waterproof and great value. I also have the Muck winter boots that I are equally a great boot.

Good quality muck boots, not knock offs. Like the shorter height and zip - makes slipping on and off easily. Mucks fits a bit larger thus 8.5 - thus for me , I went down to a size 8 and perfect fit. If between sizes - I have put thick felt liners in the boots which are great in the winter. Product is as advertised.

Great boots for short periods in the snow and ice or longer periods in the rain and mud. Super easy to slip on and off. Just a velcro attachment and zip and you're off on your adventure. I wear them all the time around the yard and on dog walks. Warmer than you would expect. Very comfortable out of the box.
