Try to find a glass screen protector for these curved-screen phones like the S7 (yes, even the non-Edge models have a curve at the edges) and you can't do it. Why? Because it's difficult to get a rigid protector to sit well on a curved surface. The problem isn't so much with the screen protectors, then, as it is with the phone designs.Still, we all want (and need) to have our screens protected, so what do we do?Our options are to go back to the film-type protectors. I just recently tried that and hated it. Just like every one I used in the past, it looked great for a few weeks, and then some of the edges started to peel up and get dirt under them. That, of course, made the problem worse. Yes, it's partially my fault since I want a pristine-looking screen, but I couldn't take it anymore and went back to one of these glass ones.I had taken my Otterbox Symmetry case off and installed the new ICHECKEY, screen protector. The sensitivity was horrible, so I very carefully lifted an edge and, without actually removing it completely, even more carefully realigned the protector on the phone. Eureka, it worked! Sensitivity was back to normal. It looked great and worked great, and all was well.Then, I put my Otterbox case back on the phone. The next time I tried to send a text, the sensitivity was gone again. What the Bleep?Long story short, what I've come to realize is these glass protectors like the ICHECKEY do not stick to the entire phone surface. They have a bit of sticky material at the top and bottom, and the rest of the protector just sits on the phone screen. That isn't a big problem until you install a case like mine, which has a edge that starts almost exactly at the outside edge of the screen protector. The result is the edge of the case puts pressure directly on the outside edge of the screen protector, lifting it slightly off the surface of the phone. No matter how much I ran my thumbnail under the edge of the case to try to get it to rest over the screen protector, there just wasn't enough material to do so. If the case material just had another 1/8th inch of material, it would actually help hold the screen protector down and would be awesome, but, unfortunately, that isn't the reality.So there I was back to square one. I either had to give up the case or give up the screen protector. Neither option seemed acceptable.Then, I had an inspiration. Since I had an extra Symmetry case on hand, I wondered if trimming some of the edge material would remove the pressure problem. Actually, I knew it would solve that issue, but the question remained whether it would cause an issue with the case staying on the phone.Using a super-sharp Exacto knife, I trimmed about a 1/16th-inch of material all the way around the edge of the case. My trimming wasn't perfectly even, but I'm super happy to report the screen protector now functions flawlessly, and the phone case still stays snugly in place.You would think by now with the epidemic of screen protector problems we're all experiencing that the phone manufacturers would make flat screens again... or maybe the case manufacturers could add just a tiny bit, or remove a tiny bit, of edge material to solve the problem ... but don't hold your breath.The bottom line is this. If you're having trouble with your ICHECKEY (and likely any of the dozens of other glass S7 screen protectors), first make sure it is perfectly aligned with your phone screen. Next, if you're using a case like my Otterbox Symmetry, check to see if the front of the case edge is pushing against the edge of your screen protector. If so, trim just a little of the material to give the protector some room (see my pictures for location of the material I'm talking about).I've been using this for about three weeks now with no issues. The only potential problem I see is that by trimming the case material, there is now an open groove around screen between the protector edge and the case edge (which is what the trimming was meant to do). It is possible dirt will accumulate in that groove. If you work in a dirty environment, you're probably better off going with an all-inclusive case like the Defender anyway. It hasn't been an issue for me, but it could bear keeping an eye on it.I hope this helps someone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Holds up well to abuse! *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2018* High quality screen protector that holds up well to the extreme abuse I put my phone through everyday. Even held up to several drops without cracking. When it finally did crack, it still functioned well for several more weeks until it was time to replace it anyway from multiple scratches that it received.After removing the screen protector(which was cracked in 3 places with a large crack running across the entire middle) my phone screen was completely unscathed! It looked as good as new!I quickly placed the second screen protector on my phone to protect it before I did anything else. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Never going back! *by K***E on Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2019* I'm not sure why, but I've always avoided tempered glass in the past and used the film screen protecters instead. I could no longer purchase my go-to film ones, so I tried another brand and was very unhappy with it.So I decided to give these tempered glass screen protectors instead and I am so glad I did. Installing these is SO much easier than the full adhesive film protectors. Using little effort whatsoever I was able to obtain a completely bubble-free screen. The touchscreen works find too and the tempered glass has zero effect on the touch sensitivity.
