Excellent Scanner

I am satisfied with this case. Advertising did not claim to be form fitting or snug, but I was hoping - it is not. The 3/4 inch extra room to bounce around in I will fill with a cloth or foam so I anticipate no challenges. I looked for WEEKS for a better case before buying this one - this is certainly the best by far I found.

When I bought a Brother Portable Scanner, I was concerned with transporting it to a job site. After some consideration, I purchased a Hermitshell Travel Case that was sized for my specific scanner. Not only does the case provide excellent protection, it also has sufficient space for the cable and a couple of thumb drives. This was one of my better purchases.

This case is not for this scanner, the more than 2 stars reviews you see here are plain strange because this item is not for this scanner. On the product pictures you can see that the cable is placed inside the mesh compartment on the top cover, well, impossible, if you want to close the case with the cable there, several things may happen, one is to tear the top of the case so the cable would be able to sprout out to allow for the pressure, another is to break the scanner so the cable can dig into the cave created with the exertion... or anything that can happen when you try to fit something into a space without enough volume to contain what you are trying to contain. Furthermore, you can't keep the SD card in the scanner, you would be risking the physical constraints of the card and also jeopardizing the functionality of the port, oh, but lets be fair, definitely you can remove the SD card and place it inside the mesh compartment on the top of the cover but definitely not the cable, that you would have to carry on your hand or another container. Keeping it hoping that the case will loose a bit with time and use (as it is mentioned in one of the reviews) the fit is so tight that it would be the same as not having the case, if something happens, it will affect the scanner directly as if there is no protective case, if you drop the scanner, this case wont absorb the impact, it will transfer it directly to the scanner, there is no volume left to allow for impact dissipation. If you imagine wearing your shoes 1 or 1.5 size smaller than your size, well, sure is possible to force fit them, but we know it wont protect your feet. Likewise, this case is 1 or 1.5 sizes smaller than the product.

This case fits the scanner perfect and is compact and easy to use. I leave my scanner in the case in my daily travel bag and have not had any issues/concerns with the safety of the scanner!

If you intend to buy for Brothers DS-940DW DO NOT BUY. The portable scanner cannot fit into the case.

Great case fits the DS 720D perfectly and has enough room for the cords , but it is a bit overpriced for what it is . What else is there to say.

O produto em si é excelente! Contudo fiquem atentos ao tamanho comprei pois no anúncio fala que serve no meu tipo de máquina DS 940DW... mas não entrou.... uma pena!

Não tem bandeja para colocar mais de um papel, precisa ficar segurando o papel até passar pelo scanner, isso atrasa o trabalho
