Dr. Scholl's Time Off

I don't often review my purchases but felt the need to review these. I bought them specifically to wear to work. I was interested in the price point (reasonably priced for sneakers). Normally I would prefer a real leather, but I'm open to alternatives and, while I do realize "recycled bottles" is just plastic, I gave it a shot and they do feel very well made. They're very cute and stylish, I received a compliment in my first few hours of wearing them. They're super comfy and cushy, I work in a hospital and spend at least 50-70% of my day on my feet. They fit me true to size (I usually wear an 8.5 and ordered an 8.5) and I wore my favorite wool socks for my first full-day test (true med weight, not a shoe liner and not a super chunky sock) and they fit very well. I feel like I could use these outside of work as well, they're just a really solid and comfortable and cute white sneaker that could be worn for a full day of walking without discomfort.

I bought these a few days before a trip to Rome, and they ended up being the perfect white sneaker for a European vacation. They check all the boxes: they're stylish, easy to wipe clean, lightweight, and comfortable. I'm very picky about shoes because am a heavy walker. I typically only wear ~very~ cushiony shoes like New Balance Fresh Foam X More, Oofos, and Taos. These are more cushion-y than your average sneaker, and I comfortably walked around 20,000 steps per day. They required no break-in period and I never developed a single blister (even though I skipped socks one day). For sizing, I normally wear a women's 6–6.5. I initially ordered the 6.5, but they felt a little too snug, especially with socks. I exchanged them for a 7, and the fit was much more comfortable. I'd definitely recommend sizing up, particularly if you're between sizes. Since these are leather sneakers, they're naturally a little less breathable and flexible than knit or fabric shoes. Even so, I wore them for long sightseeing days in 100°F+ Rome temperatures, and my feet never felt disproportionately hot or uncomfortable. If you're looking for a cute, cushiony, travel-friendly white sneaker that can handle long days of walking, I highly recommend these!

These are good shoes. They are comfortable and fit true to size. Unlike some other reviewers, I did not find them difficult to break in or develop blisters on my heels. They are very cute and look more expensive than they were. They are easy to clean and don’t scuff or stain easily. I haven’t worn them to walk very long distances, but find them to be very lightweight and non-restrictive for normal, all-day wear. They provide a lot of arch support, which I love. I would absolutely buy them again!

As a teacher on my feet all day I could not find a shoe to save me from my leg/feet pain. These shoes are easy to get on and off for me. They fit perfectly. I will say I have wide feet and normally wear somewhere around a women’s 8 and I did get 8.5. They feel lightweight when I walk and I feel so supported. These took away my sole pain & calf pain that I had previously. Highly recommend at least trying them! I will say I love the white classic look, but I do wish they had more variety of colors to chose from.

After weeks of searching for a comfortable, stylish sneaker that I can wear instead of a running shoe, I finally found it, or so I thought. These sneakers are very comfortable out of the box, I love the style, the arch support, and the platform. They fit well, especially in the toe box. I sometimes wear a wide width, so I sized up 1/2 size and the medium width is perfect! These shoes will be great for travel and for a nicer everyday look with shorts, skirts, casual dresses and jeans. HOWEVER, the sole began separating along the side of one of the shoes the first day that I wore them!! I like the shoes and I’m able to exchange them for another pair. Dr. Scholl’s is a reputable brand and for $75 these shoes should last longer. I’m giving them another try.

I am a function over fashion person, and I chose to walk 15 miles in these because they were comfortable (its a bonus that they are also cute). I am in my late 20's, active, average height and build, and I usually wear running sneakers even in situations where most people would wear a dress shoe because I have sensitive feet. I went on a 2-week trip where I walked about 10 miles every day and I ended up alternating between a pair of running shoes and these shoes. I have sensitive feet. I recently found that even my running shoes (a nice over $100 pair of Brooks that I selected after visiting a running store near me) have been making the bottoms of my feet hurt (weird pain on the outer edge of my foot that then hurts for the rest of the day even when sitting). It was to the point where I would not go on short walks in my neighborhood. I tried a second pair of running shoes and they also aggravated the issue. In desperation with a big vacation coming up, I ordered these just in case they were actually comfortable. And they were! I always doubt reviews where someone says the shoes that look cute are also comfortable, so I thought I would write my own. Things that make them comfy - Material around your ankle is cushioned and soft to the touch. - insole feels like memory foam - outer sole is firm, providing support (not sure about arch support because my feet are a bit flat) I find that I have noticeably quiet footsteps when walking... I think because of the material of the sole. Things to watch out for - I did find the toe box can be a bit narrow, slightly rubbing my pinky toes. I tend to have average width feet so if you have wide feet that would be something to account for. I do not think any shoe is 100% pain free after walking 15 miles without actually working your feet up to that distance gradually. But these ones were pretty good! By alternating these with a different style of shoe, I was able to relieve the pain points from the different shoes and keep my feet tired but happy during the trip. I have now opted to wear these shoes to places like the zoo and a museum in my city because they are comfy! And as a bonus I can wear them with a dress when I want to look cute. I wouldn't run in them, but for walking they are my new favorite and I am planning to buy another pair!

Ive been plagied with foot pain for years. I got custom inserts and they helped but I still had pain. Enter these shoes. I ditched the custom inserts and just use these, as is. These are the most comfortable sneakers ever. They are stylish as well and go with most outfits. I've been using this brand/style for years. Just one pair brought me through miles of walking in Italy, New Orleans, and California, and every day use. The material eventually started cracking on the outside, which is understandable considering how much use they had. I got a new pair after that, which brought me on 2 cruises and warped tour. I didn’t get a single blister, or pain at all. I didn't need the custom inserts. Yes, my feet were tired and fatigued from so much walking, but they didnt hurt. I highly recommend these sneakers.

I have these in white and I love them (see below). I bought the cheetah print ones and discovered they’re printed plastic, not any type of textured material. They look cheap for this reason. I should have looked at the picture closer. Bummed because I wanted a second pair of these amazing shoes. Review for the actual shoe: I LOVE them! I needed a shoe that would be safe enough to wear (I often have vertigo and am unstable and unbalanced). These shoes are so cute and understated but so comfortable, with arch support and a cushioned sole. These are doing to be my go-to shoes all summer.

Bought these based off other reviews for a trip to New York where I was doing 25k steps per day. Recommended wearing in, first day was brutal, after that perfect. They are also waterproof, which were great in snow both there and Canada. Highly recommend
