Cord Away Self-Adhesive Wire Clips, Black, 6/Pack

I love this product! It does exactly what is promises and is well-designed. I have a large (probably to large) computer desk and adding the six wire clips to the back fixed my cord nightmare. With a computer, three external hard drives, an external DVD burner. two printers, and two surge protectors, I have a lot of cords and I needed something to help. For the money, this can't be beaten. First, the size is excellent. Even the heavy duty surge protector cords fit easily with room for more cords. Second, so far I have had no trouble with the adhesive. It holds well to both wood and metal. Third, the price is right. I highly recommend this cable organizer.

I rarely write reviews but when I find something this good I feel the need to share. Simply put, these clips are awesome. I'm using them to secure comptuer cables on the underside of an open desk. I was worried about thier stickability and ability to hold multiple cables, but my worries were completely unfounded with these clips. The glue on the tape is VERY strong so they aren't going anywhere but where I put them. They easily open and close (with a pinch) as you add or subtract cables in your routing path, and they seem durable enough to hold up over time through inevitible multiple wiring changes (as you add or subtract computer peripherals). These will easily hold several thicker cables (5 - 8) but will still safely secure one or two if that's all you have. I bought twice as many as I needed so I'd have plenty for future use, and I'm glad I did. I'd advise buyers to do the same as production on these kind of things change frequently. 11/21/13 POSTSCRIPT: I did not read previous reviews before posting my (above) review. Some had problems with these clips not having enough stick to them. The review directly prior to mine said the clips gave way to gravity and fell the next day. I bought these for the exact same reason as that person, to run cables on the underside of a desk, but I am quite satisfied they will hold with no problem. The glue (sticky tape) seems very, very strong. Maybe it depends on the material you're sticking them to??? In my case my desk is heavy particle board with laminate veneer. They seem to be sticking very firmly to that. Hopefully they will hold as well as I think they will, but if I have any problems I will post it here.

Works well. The glue can be a bit weak for certain applications. I solved by adding a little liquid nail.

25JUNE24.2156 Subject: Poor Quality Product and Unacceptable Restocking Fee As a veteran, I am highly disappointed in the product's performance. It will not securely lock when adding HDMI cables. It continually unclips, and the adhesive fails to hold on the underside of wood surfaces. This product is of very poor quality. Additionally, they charge a restocking fee for this poor-quality product, which is unacceptable.

Pros: - Cheap - Enough space to hold plenty of cables - Adhesive seems to be extremely strong - Easy to use - Sturdy locking mechanism Cons: - None yet This is a great little product for the money. I have it currently holding two large power cords plus a bunch of thinner cables along the wall and it is doing its job just fine. In fact, I could easily fit in a few more large power cables if I was so inclined. Also, because of its flat back design, should the adhesive ever fail or need reinforcing, one could always use permanent tape to secure it back in place.

This product certainly helps clean up your cables but is not a complete cable management solution if that's what you're looking for. I have a desk where the back is fully exposed showing every single cable going to my computer, lamp, monitor, etc. This is great for guiding all your loose cables under the desk but I'm still faced with the issue of how I could hide all the excess! I usually loop them and zip tie them but then it just looks like a bunch of power cords hanging in my workshop. Messy! The best I've seen so far is the "Galant" cable management product from Ikea. Using Galant with these cord clips is the best combo, however the tackiness should be improved on the self-adhesive backing. I've noticed a few have already detached from my desk.

These clips are great. They hold multiple wires securely. The adhesive on the back seems strong and is holding fine after a week. They are as attractive as these kind of things can be - there are no unnecessary protrusions like there are on some of the clips that I've seen. Easy to open again and add more wires. What else can I say, they do the job at a great price. Would buy again.

These clips are great! I only ended up needing 2 of them. The rest, my coworkers were able to use as well. Easy to apply. Very sticky/permanent sticker backing. Would not suggest sticking to a wood surface. Really helps keep the mess of cords at bay. Timely shipment. Would order from this seller again in the future.
