Best Tiny Light Ever!!
These lithe lights are amazing. They are so tiny, but for a key chain light, they are crazy bright, and they seem to really tough and well built. The only problem I have ever had with them is losing them! In fact, for a key chain size light, I think these are by far the best out there. I have several, and have given them to friends as family as a great "stocking-stuffer" type gift, and they are always a big hit. Obviously these are not going to be a primary flashlight, though they are actually brighter than the cheap 2 D-cell light we had in kitchen drawer. (you know, those $1.99 lights they used to always have in big bin at Radio Shack) This is a light you keep for those moments like when the porch light is out or you need to find an earring that fell between the seats in the car, and for that kind of thing battery life is not much of an issue. It will not burn at peak brightness for very long if used for longer purposes, but even then it will stay bright enough to be useful longer than I expected with the tiny batteries. The handy clip even let me use it as a tent light. Bright enough to light your way out into the woods for, well... business, then easily clipped to the top of the tent for a bit of reading. I love these little lights and highly recommend them. Pick up a couple and keep the second one unopened, then you will always have a backup in case you lose it, AND you have a handy last minute gift just in case!

A Lot Of Light For The Buck
This is our fourth Streamlight product we have purchased. The others being two of the Protac AA [Model 88033] and the Protact A [Model 88032] which can be found here: http://www.amazon.com/Streamlight-88033-Tactical-Flashlight-Batteries/dp/B003GXF9OA/ref=sr_1_1?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1396445258&sr=1-1&keywords=streamlight+protac+aa With that said, because the previous flashlights worked extremely well, we opted to try this Nano Light. At first, we were skeptical because small lights usually are finicky by nature. That hasn't been the case however. The Streamlight Nano Light is sturdy for its size, its perfect for a keychain and has plenty of light for its size. It being different from the push-cap type flashlights is something to take note of, but not a deal breaker. It would make a great gift for those interested in a flashlight [or needing one], but it doesn't break the bank either. Quality flashlights can end up costing more and the last thing one would want is to buy a great tool yet not have it be appreciated. This offers another option without having to spend a lot of money. For the price, this light is hard to beat. Only downside is the batteries, but we knew that so that is okay. We don't mind it at all. We just usually opt to stick to rechargeable AA/AAA and probably CR123/18650 soon as well. The light is still running on its original batteries so that rocks! We've had it for 4-5 months and its performed flawlessly for what it is. Definitely something we wouldn't hesitate to buy nor recommend to other folks.

Amazing little, teeny light!
Only 3 1/2 cm long but can light up a room! You don't want to look directly into the light which is why I wouldn't give it to a child. It is truly blinding! I can see that some might worry a bit about it turning on inadvertently while in your pocket thus wearing the batteries down (or even having the bulb portion unscrew completely releasing the batteries) altho, if my specimen is any indication, the light head on/off turning collar is fairly stiff. If you're paranoid or don't pay attention to how you turn the light off – just a quarter turn does the trick without unduly loosening the collar – then I'd go with the teflon tape trick. And, I'd tend not to hang it on a key chain loose in a pocket where it would get a lot of knocking about possibly loosening the collar. A Photon light might be the better choice there. I keep mine secure in a Every Day Carry bag where it doesn't get jostled in a way that would loosen it. But, that said, this is a marvel of technology! The Nano is as bright as or brighter than my 2 AA Maglight but about 1/10 the size!

Bright! Attach to something so you don't lose it!
This is am extremely bright light for its size ... and it IS tiny, perhaps half-a-pinkie, in real world terms. I've had an old ARC AAA on my keys for a long time ... neat, in its day, and certainly tough. A lot has changed in this technology. A lot. Some comparisons: the Microstream is about 3x this, volumetrically, and about 2-3/4 the length. The ARC is 2x. The advantage of the others ... they use a single AAA battery, while this uses button cells. The advantage of this ... tiny, tiny, tiny, and tougher than a Photon. No lens, so I anticipate some LED scratching. You can't have it all. This is perfect on a keyring, but working with it is strictly an emergency deal. 8 hours of runtime is probably optimistic, but at 2 minutes per use, this is doable, as long as the head doesn't twist off somewhere. We've had several Streamlight Stylus Pros around for quite awhile ... this seemed worth a try. It's certainly better on a keyring than a Micro. Just ... ugh ... those batteries. No other options in this firm factor. Pretty neat!

Surprisingly Small & Effective
Ordered this on a whim mainly to push an order into the free shipping zone...VERY glad I did! Handy - clipped onto a Leatherman & it's always ready to guide me in dark areas, light up the back of a computer, behind a bookcase, and/or signalling at night. Solid build - takes everyday abuse without a scratch Recommended!

Handy, when it works
This flashlight is a great addition to a keychain - it is tiny and nearly weightless, and it puts out a good amount of light. Sometimes. The problem I've run into is that the LED will flicker and sputter, the way it would if the batteries were dying, even when I know the batteries are good; this makes the flashlight nearly useless. This seems to be due to a contact on the LED board indenting the positive end of the battery closest to the LED and preventing a good connection when I twist the business end to turn it on. That is a bad design, and I would warn friends away from buying one of these.

DO NOT BUY from THIS Seller. Seller should be banned from Amazon!!!
Seller sent sent me a flashlight that has a corroded battery inside. Therefore the flashlight does not work due to the corroded battery! Seller wanted me to pay for the return label for this defective item. I had to call Amazon customer service 2x! One to escalate the problem. 2nd is to file a claim against this seller. I was told now by cs to call back in 7 days if my money back guarantee will be approved. THIS SELLER SHOULD BE BANNED BY AMAZON to ever SELL defective items in Amazon and inconvenience buyers like me that has been loyal to Amazon for 20 some years!!!

Good, strong light
I wanted a small flashlight on my keychain to help out when trying to get into the car when it's dark, checking the mail, or just "whatever". I had one of those disc-shaped lights that you press to light, but the tiny LED on those is so wimpy you might as well not bother most of the time. Not this one though. Good, strong light. It's not going to blind you of course, but if you need some solid light to see under your car seat for that thing you just dropped, or light the path in front of you in a dark parking lot, etc. this light will do the job. I got a Pelican Flashlight 1810C and also a Streamlight 73005 Nano and honesetly they're both so similar in size and light, I like them both (one's for me, one's for the wife), and I don't have a favorite. I guess it comes down to price. I think they both even use the same battery. This review is for both models because they are so similar and I'd have the exact same things to say about them.

Love these!
This is the second one of these I've purchased. The other one worked for 3 years before batteries died. It's super bright and super tiny, and I love it. I bought this one and a package of batteries, and gave my old one to hubby with new batteries. It works great still!
