It is a great book on Hanafi fiqh. A great accompaniment to this is "Ascent to Felicity", which is like a study guide to this monstrous volume. Have a sheikh or Imam trained in Hanafi fiqh that you can reference because when reading this book, you will have questions. Great book, it truly is indispensable.

Very well translated. The Arabic is very easy to understand and it is just a masterpiece front-to-back. It is a must for any scholar or student wanting to understand the origins of modern jurisprudence.
