My only minor complaint is that it didn’t come with screws, which meant a quick trip to the toolbox. Otherwise, I’m very satisfied. If your grill stops feeding pellets and you’re wondering whether to replace the motor or the whole unit, this is definitely worth trying first.

Works great for direct replacement for pellet grill. Very easy to install. Will update on the longevity of the unit, I’ve only used my grill a couple times since install, but so far it does great igniting the pellets.

Note: if you’re here because you got the fault, clean the thermostat inside, it might help as well. I got a few extra cooks out of mine before I had to replace the igniter. Fit my grill perfectly and probably cheaper than OEM. Watch the Pit Boss videos to do the install. It’s really easy but if you pull the cables out without a pull string, you’ll be in a for a major project. Probably a “take your whole grill apart” project. It takes about 30 mins to install, maybe an 1 beer project. Other than that works great and has been lighting/burning like a champ. I like that there are 2 so I’ll be ready to go when I need to replace.
