I personally find this gummies to be effective and safe for use. I first looked into the gummies after consulting with his doctor as I was looking for assistance to break my 4 year old out a late bedtime/late morning sleep pattern; it was so difficult because he never had a bedtime routine since he was a baby, and so many days were inconsistent. He has recently started preschool, and that's why I wanted to get things in to gear and start preparing him. He has been taking them as needed in the past couple months, and I have noticed no negative side effects; one gummy usually has him sleeping within 30-45 minutes. I just wanted to share my personal story for why we used them and how it has helped. That doesn't mean others will share a similar experience as every person reacts differently to different products. Now that he has started school, I'm hoping his new schedule will provide the consistency we need and wear him out enough that we will not need the gummies as often. He does enjoy the taste and does not mind the texture. It's also great to have something like this in our back pocket if he just has one of those nights where he is not winding down. I want him to have a great sleep schedule and good night's rest, and these gummies have certainly aided in that effort.

This review pertains to my child only. I work the midnight shift so it was imperative for me to get him down by 2030 so I could catch a nap from 2100 to 2300. That was NOT happening. On my way to work, I kept hearing about Nyquil Z's for kids. Looked it up, did some research and comparing with Walmart and Amazon when I came across the Zarbee's brand. I disregarded the other brand and immediately put this in my cart as we use Zarbee's for their rub, cough medicine, etc., big fan to say the least. Read the reviews and excitedly waited for my package. Took the advice of a few mothers and only gave him 1/2 a gummy. Gave it to him at 1915 during his bath and followed routine. He was in bed by 1930, bit didn't fall asleep until 1950. Following night, same routine, but gave him 1/2 a gummy at beginning of bath at 1900. In bed by 1930, only got through 3 books and out by 1945. 3rd night, same routine, in bed by 1930 and rolled over to go to sleep only half way through one book. Before, it was at least 8 books, prayers, ocean sounds, with him still running out of the room and me chasing him back. Now, I have time to watch a little t.v. before bed and make lunch all before my 2100 nap before work. Now, for the best part. Didn't want to give my child something I wouldn't try. I'm a light sleeper and was averaging 2-3 hours of sleep a day! Tried one and my first nap afyer work was 4 hours (usually 2) and my galaxy active recorded more REM and deep sleep than before! Did NOT take another for second nap as I was afraid I'd slumber too well. Regardless, the one from earlier still allowed me to fall fast asleep from 2100 to 2300 (usually ends up only 30 min). I was in AWE! I woke up refreshed and ready to go after both naps. Oh and they are quite tasty I might add. LOVE THIS PRODUCT and mind you, I don't write reviews.

I love this melatonin. Even though it is for kids, both my kids and I take them when we need a good night sleep or need to get to sleep quickly. I have gotten this brand in the gummies and the chewables and they both work great. The gummies are quite sweet and the chewables are not. Some melatonin products I’ve taken (I usually only use 1-2mg) have left me feeling groggy in the morning but this brand never does, I always wake up feeling refreshed and well rested. This Zarbees melatonin is really good and I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a good quality melatonin for children and adults.
