Very clever but functional item. I am always fighting cords. This will be excellent for travel and will eliminate cord breaking. Easy to use and is sizable. Helps keep cord organized especially when we have so many now.

I wanted an efficient way to travel with my MacBook charging cable. When I received it, I was concerned it was going to be too bulky to fit in my travel backpack but I was pleasantly surprised that it slid into a pocket and took up minimal room. It was easy to put the charging cable into the winder and I actually leave it in the winder while I'm at home so I don't have an excessive amount of cord just laying on the floor all the time. A great value for the price. It works perfectly and makes it extremely easy to manage my cable while traveling.

This is a fantastic cable winder for your laptop cord. Best one available on Amazon or otherwise as far as I can tell, and I've tried several. However, there are some essential "features" that are still left to be desired, such as a way to 'secure' the usb-c cable into the large "brick" (transformer) of the charger -- when unwinding the cable by pulling on both ends, unless you pull gently the usb-c can dislodge from the "brick", so there's that. Not the biggest deal, because you should be pulling rather gently anyway, but it would be nice to have a way to secure the cable there so it feels more sturdy and reliable.

Love this thing. I travel with my laptop almost every weekend and I got tired of trying to wrap up my wire every other day. It was easy to set up, fit my adapter perfectly, and tucks right into my weekender bag. I have a longer usb c wire attached but this has a few indents on the outside for me to wrap and “click” the extra part into. Can’t say much about durability because I’ve had it for less than a month.

I've been using a MacBook Pro for years and have always felt the charger to be cumbersome. I finally purchased the Cord Winder and find it to do the job intended: easily winding and unwind the cord and decluttering the mess when the charger is used by itself. The directions are straightforward, it does travel well and appears to be durable. It's bulkier than I would like but I don't know that could have been avoided.

Which generic A/C adapter does this work with? Where are the measurements for the A/C adapter to be inserted into this gigantic round thing. I like the idea of having the cable wrapped, but I dislike the size of this thing. It bulged out when I stuck in my A/C case.

Quick and easy to set up, especially with the included instructions. Looks good on the floor when partially and fully wound up. Unwinding it can be a little tricky - take care when pulling the cords in opposite directions, to prevent unnecessary strain on the thinner usb-c cord rubbing along the lip of the output hole. The grommets along the outside, to grip any excess usb-c cable when fully wound, are a nice touch.

not bad for the money. it is bigger than I was expecting. I bought this and the other more popular brand to check out. I used an apple 85 watt charger for my 15 inch MacBook Pro. it fit the cord but the ends don't tuck in as nicely as the other brand. I do like the base it has some sticky feet to keep it in the desk or table but the way it unwinds make it difficult to lengthen the cord with out picking the whole thing up. I'm also concerned for the long term pressure on the smaller end of my power cord, it a very hard bend that may lead to a break down the road. but we will see.

I use this cord winder every day and It is one of the best purchases I've ever made. $29.99CAD might seem like a bit of a high price for a cable winder but this one is awesome. It's sturdy. It's well-designed. It's not a huge eyesore. It protects the charging block cable ends from being damaged by standard winding practices and keeps any unused length of cable also protected inside the housing while in use. It also keeps the extra unused cable length off of my desk and is super quick to wind up and go. I've only got the one so far but I will be back to buy some for the rest of the Macbook users in my life as presents. The only concern is maybe the size of the winder. If you tend to carry your Macbook in a small bag or case it may not fit as it is (understandably) a fair bit larger than the charging block on its own. However, I think it is a fair trade-off. Seriously, I cannot recommend this thing enough, it's a peace of mind, time-saving and convenient tool that makes daily life just a little bit easier.

I got this for my husband... but maybe for me. Lol. I HATE his macbook chord. It's bulky and always in the way. This makes it look tidy and it's no longer a safety hazzard. Everyone wins!

I recently purchased the cord and charger organizer for my MacBook Pro from Human Centric, a small Chicago-based business. The design is really well thought out and the idea is great. I particularly like the function that allows the device to rotate, automatically organizing the cord inside. The only downside is that it's not as simple to “unscrew” as I expected. Overall, a very useful product!

It’s my favorite charger now, so easy to wind up and use, feels so sturdy and keeps my wire safe in my backpack!
