When I travel, I use a 15.6" external monitor for additional screen space. Because I'm reading documents that are written in a portrait-oriented format, I turn the monitor on its end. The monitor that I have has all the jacks and controls on the short sides (that would be, the right and the left if I were using landscape orientation), which can be a challenge once the monitor is rotated. Plan A was the case/stand that came with the monitor. That was no good because a) it lacks support in the upper half of the monitor, and b) it requires the monitor to rest on the table surface, which blocks the input ports. Plan B was to use a hinged wooden plate holder that I found in the attic. It did give access to the ports, but provided very little support and it was wobbly. Very, very wobbly. Plan C was a cute laptop stand that looks like two skis with an x hinge in the middle. It was lightweight for travel, and set up easily but did not give access to the ports. That brings us to this product, the Pepper Jobs holder. I was emotionally prepared for it to be another flop but it was a SUCCESS! It is a little heavier than I would have wanted (keeping in mind it will be in my carry on with all the other computer gear on lengthy trips), but it needs that weight to allow the support portion to be lifted off the table... GIVING ACCESS TO THE INPUT PORTS... without losing stability. It doesn't have additional support for the upper part of the monitor, but somehow (maybe because of the weight of the base and good contact area at the base of the monitor) the size of the "backrest" is adequate. My advice - if you struggle with an external monitor that you need to turn to a portrait orientation, try this stand first - you won't be disaapointed, and you'll save yourself a lot of headache (and possibly tipped, scratched monitors and damaged cables along the way too!)

C'était en complément pour un cadeau avec une tablette pour mon mari. Il est très satisfait. Il s'ajuste très bien autant sur la hauteur que dans l'angle de vision vers l'avant. Très solide pour supporter une tablette de 10.4 po. Plié il se range très facilement et prend très peu d'espace pour emporter en voyage. Mon mari l'aime beaucoup pour lire son journal quotidien numérique. Très bonne qualité prix . Je le recommande sans hésiter.

I bought a pair to hold my two 15.6" portable monitors higher, so they are more at eye level with my laptop screen on its cooling fan pad. great way for a three-monitor set-up I can travel with for extended business trips.

After reading reviews carefully on Amazon.ca, I can see why people love this product. The Pepper Jobs Tablet Holder is capable of holding my portable monitor, the Dragon Touch S1 Pro series with 15.6 inches. I can now use both monitors on my I-Mac without any frustration and can adjust the stand with comfort for the eyes. This is useful if you are coding as a Web Designer, Multitasking when editing videos or just watching movies and surfing the web at the same time. The best part is the price is affordable and you can take this in your bags when going on trips. Very innovative. Highly recommended.
