Attractive, keeps iced tea cold w/out condensation - but big and heavy
I love these Sun Tea thermo glasses, which I bought to replace an even larger Tervis 24oz double-wall plastic tumbler, which I've had for about five years now. Pros: Very attractive glass, both empty and full. I'm not kidding. The photos barely do it justice. The slight waviness in the sides means it's easy for someone with tiny hands like mine to handle it. Keeps cold drinks cold for a long time (haven't tried it with hot yet). Well constructed and well-packaged. Cons (sort of): It is a heavy glass. However, this to be expected in a double-walled borosilicate tumbler. I personally don't consider it a problem, but some folks might mind. It's also rather narrow inside, and even with hands as small as mine, I need a brush to wash it. (As it turns out, Sun Tea sells a four-dollar bottle brush that works perfectly with the glass, so I bought one as an add-on item with my Prime-qualifying order.) Although Sun Tea says the glass is dishwasher safe, I'm probably going to stick with hand-washing. Also, I suppose the price might seem a little high for just two glasses, especially in the day of complete sets at local discount stores for less than twenty bucks...but I like a touch of luxury for a glass I literally use every single day. (Iced rooibos tea is my drink of choice.) Subjective: Again, some might mind the heaviness of the glass, especially when full, but I actually consider it a good feature, as the glass will take quite a jostle to tip over. (This wasn't the case with the Tervis, which spilled more times than I care to admit, and contributed to the demise of not one but two computer keyboards.) The other subjective feeling has to do with the thickness of the rim. Another reviewer commented that it was too thick and resulted in "dribbling around the edges". I honestly don't see how that's possible, but whatever. I really like the smoothness and curve of the rim, which is unlike any other glass (or mug) I've owned. There is no sharpness or edge to catch the lip -- whereas with the Tervis double-walled tumbler, for example, there was the rim itself, which wasn't rounded, and then another outer hard edge where the two halves of the plastic -- the inner and outer walls -- were joined but did not meet perfectly. Anyway, like I said, some folks might be put off by the weight and the thickness and oddness of the smooth rim, but I consider both of those positive features. We only got the two glasses, but if they ever go on sale, I'm thinking we'll probably pick up a few more for general use. The one thing I can't comment on is durability, having only had the glasses for about a week, but they sure give the impression of being solid and hard-to-break. Not fragile at all. We'll see. 18 October 2015 update: For those who might be wondering about durability, I still have the two glasses I bought back in April 2014. They both still look like new and I've even tipped them over a couple times without breakage. I do hand-wash them, which may make a difference, and I'm also careful about thermal shock -- that is, if the glass is cold, I wash with cold water. If warm, I use tap water to equalize the temperature before adding ice.

Best double walled glasses that I have found.
I love double-walled glasses. They keep my drinks cold and the outside of the glass does not get too cold so they are not ncomfortable to hold and they do not get condensation on the outside so you don't really need to use a coaster. These particular double-walled glasses are the best that I have found. They are sturdy and dishwasher safe. The ripples on the sides make the very easy to hold. The only real downside that I can think of is that they are a bit heavy. This doesn't bother me but my wife complains that they are too heavy and she does not want to use them. However, she does not like to use the single-walled 20 oz. glasses that we have. That basically completes my review of this product but if you want a little bit of background on my search for the perfect double-walled glass, the here you go: I have tried a couple different styles of double-walled glasses in the past. The first set I purchased was from Costco and they were made of very thin glass. They looked nice but they were not dishwasher safe and they broke very easily. Out of a set of four that I bought about four years ago, I only have one left. The second set that I tried were Tervis glasses made of plastic. I initially thought those were great as I have kids and they were advertised as beng ndestructible. However, in short order my then 2 year old threw one at our tile floor and it smashed (whereas I think a cheap plastic cup from the dollar store probably would have survived). 2 out of the 6 Tervise cups I have owned have had problems with the seal at the mouth of the cup (there is a seam where the inside wall connects to the outside wall) and they have gotten water in between the double walls (Tervis has a lifetime warranty but I would have to pay the shipping to return them to the factory and I live in Canada so shipping would cost almost as much as the glasses themselves). The biggest problem with the Tervis glasses is that after a few cycles through the dishwasher they all look cloudy and scratched. While my remaining 3 out of 6 Tervis glasses are still fine to drink out of, I no longer want to serve drinks to guests in them.

Loving Them
I ordered these at the same time that I ordered the 20 oz straight-walled glasses. I wasn't too sure what the difference would be. The wave is basically the same glass with a ripple/wave pattern in the glass. It adds a bit of visual detail but doesn't change any functional element to the glass. It does seem to make it a bit heavier. We have come to love these glasses. They don't sweat on furniture, they hold a lot of ice and a lot of liquid, the contents stay cold for far longer than in regular single-walled glass and I can use them with guests and not worry that they will break. We use them interchangeably with the non-wave glasses. I really do have to get to the cabinet before my husband if I want to claim one. He's never shown a preference for any glass before so I'd say they are a win in our house.

Attractive glasses
I decided to give these a try because I like the appearance of the double walled drinking glasses. These seem more durable than some of the other double walled offerings out there, they weigh in at ~15 oz without liquid inside, so they have some heft to them as well. That's probably a good thing since if they were to get knocked over they would probably break fairly easily. I kind of see these as occasional use glasses, sort of similar to fine wine glasses, I don't know how well they would hold up if someone tried to use them as everyday glasses -- with the washing process and all. These are somewhat taller than the average drinking glass you will find at big box stores, I'll go over the specs of these: Height: 7 1/4" Circumference: 10" Dry Weight: 14.9 oz Speaking of the circumference, for someone with smaller hands - this glass is pretty big around, not overly large but I can see someone with smaller hands having some difficulty with these. I decided to do a quick comparison of glasses with my existing set Anchor Hocking Flair Beverage Set, 12-Ounce Small & 16-Ounce Large, Set of 16 . Of course this glass has a fluid capacity of 20 oz vs. the large tea glass in the referenced sets' capacity of 16 oz. But just as a reference of a typical store bought set, here are the specs: Height: 6 1/2" Circumference: 8" Dry Weight: 14.6 oz Some of the truly nice features of the Sun Tea double walled glass include: + Keep liquids cold for a longer period of time. + Less condensation forms on the outside of the glass, doesn't produce the water *ring* at the base like traditional glasses. + The outside of the glass doesn't get cold like regular glasses, this is highly noticeable when drinking very cold liquids. + Appearance is cool, the liquid seems *suspended* in the glass. A few caveats: - Somewhat fragile -- I suspect these would break easily if just put into the sink with other items, for instance washing dishes. - Expense -- Well, you get what you pay for, but you can almost buy a whole drink set for the price of two of these. - Internal wall -- This glass has less of a distance between the outer wall and inner wall than some of the others I've seen, so the effect is not as substantial as some other offerings. Overall I like them and with light use and care I believe these will last a pretty long time. I recommend these as an occasional use item, they would be awesome for social events as an elegant touch. Recommended with a few caveats.

Incredible glasses, no sweat and ice lasts forever
These are INCREDIBLE. They do not sweat all over the table, they keep ice forever, they are dishwasher safe, and they are genuinely comfortable to hold and drink from. Beautifully practical and simply nice to use.

Impressive Insulated Glasses
I ordered two sets of these glass insulated tumblers to replace some plastic ones that have been really good. Wanted to upgrade a bit. The glasses are really impressive. They are crystal clear and heavy. I like the wavy styling of the exterior. After trying an iced drink in one, I would say they keep a beverage cold as well as anything else I've tried with an open top. I do want to mention that these glasses are large and somewhat heavy when filled with ice and liquid. They have a capacity of 20 ounces. I believe a smaller version is offered. I recommend these.

Cracks when ice is added, warranty claim ignored
I own ~ 8 of these double wall glasses, purchased from 2024-3/25. I recently pulled one of the more recent ones, bought 3/25, out of the dishwasher, to find water had leaked inside it. It had a small crack, in the bottom interior of the glass. The only way I know of that this could happen is when I dispense the small crescent shaped ice cubes, out of my freezer door. I went to the Sunstea site, and filled out their warranty form-place of purchase, date, order #, upload a photo, etc. The instructions said I should receive a email confirmation within 30 minutes, I should email them. I waited a full day, then sent the email. I waited another full day, and nothing. Itโs frustration to waste value time, on a $12 glass, that shouldnโt break from adding ice to it. This seems to be a common ploy, by sketchy companies, who run customers around in circles over warranty claims, until they finally just give up, after theyโve been deceived into wasting valuable time. I estimate that over 3.5 months, since I bought this particular glass, itโs probably been used 12-15 times, since Iโm the only one in our household that uses them. They work great, if you can afford to buy $12 drinking glasses that are disposable if you use ice.

I have tried a ton of double walled drinkware, this is my fave
Biggest issues with these double walled things are usually that they're made too small or they narrow at the bases for some reason and are too tippy. Always look at diameter of the base before you buy, there are some 12-16 oz glasses out there that are 1.5 inches at the bottom. i've bought some of them and it's ridiculous. These glasses sit will and the base is adequately wide enough. Another issue is the glass is too thin on a lot of them. This one has a thicker glass which I like. Feels sturdy like it can handle an ice cube drop or falling over on a wood table without cracking. Lastly, the 20 ounce size is a must. Hard to find walled ones with this much volume but it makes no sense to me to mix up a killer drink and have to go back and make another one because it's a 12 or 16 oz glass which is about a net of 8 oz after you ice it up. Knocking out a 5 minute prep time for a bloody mary only to throw it in a 12 oz glass with ice is silly. Especially when it's just a standard single wall glass, its like "Hey wow, great drink, so.....either this thing is gone in 5 sips or I nurse it and all the ice melts and it tastes watered down and lame. If you've come this far you know the value of double walled drinkware and how well it holds ice and what an upgrade it is when you want something to taste as good in the last sip as the first. These babies aren't cheap but I think they're worth it. Great gift because most people incredibly are still using normal glasses and have no clue about the difference.

Fantastic!
Perfect highball glasses for me! I HATE "sweating" glasses with water dripping and the glasss slippy. I can imagine they may be a teeny bit bulky for some but I have no complaints whatsoever. Love them.

Solid design
A joy to use for the past 2 weeks since purchase. It's a borosilicate glass 20 oz double walled tumbler. That's the same glass as your Pyrex measuring cup. Mind you, this tumbler has much thinner walls despite being girthy. I use it with my carbonated water SodaStream. I drink a lot of carbonated water. So much that I invested in a 10 lb CO2 tank. For that purpose it's perfect. The tumbler holds enough water that I don't constantly have to go refill the glass. The tall thin profile keeps the CO2 from dissipating along the walls. The temperature and carbonation stay as pleasant from for much longer than my old pint glass. The wave pattern fits perfectly in my giant size hands. A joy to hold. No wider than a pint glass. Doesn't pass a long the cold beyond a very comfortable coolness to the hands from smooth dense glass. I'm drinking so much water now.

I like these a lot
I got these because I was tired of my glasses "sweating" in the Sydney summer. 20 oz = 591 ml, which is more than enough for your standard drink, including (obviously) half-litre craft products like cider or ginger beer. I tend to use the smaller 13 oz product (I bought a range of sizes) for a standard 300-330 ml beer bottle. Slight ribbed effect on the glass is good for grip and I have observed minimal to no condensation on the outside of the glass, which was precisely what I wanted. A normal glass with cold beer will sweat buckets on a humid Summer's afternoon - even worse with a gin and tonic with ice! So in that respect, the cut-down on condensation is very good and entirely the point for me. Other notables - I like drinking out of a glass cf bottle or can, due to comfort and less draw-in of air (i.e. less slurping). The edges on these glasses are quite fat and comfortable on the lips, given they are double-walled. I dishwash these without any concern and they have survived a few decent bumps without damage. I could not find a similar product in Australia for a similar price, and they perform well, hence my thumbs up.

Impressive thickness!
Amazing quality from this brand! I'm sure it will last a long time. Only thing is, there is not pressure outlet and the bottom.

Great size and tough to boot
These are great. They have gone through the dishwasher several times with no problems. They also keep the drink cold.
