The AR level on this one is 6.0. and it contains 105 pages as well as a timeline and a 2 sided fold out color map. I teach 3rd grade and my students love these books because they are interesting and full of drawings, but with a few exceptions, they have a hard time reading everything in it because of the higher level content and vocabulary. That being said, the books are very informative. Where is the Great Barrier Reef gives information about how it was discovered, how it was formed, the living things found there, and what is happening with the reef today. Other pages of information tell about the Aborigines, the Ice Age, boomerangs, and the first European settlers to name just a few. I think this is a great resource of information for our study of Australia.
