Good product, variety, good price
I restore vintage stereo receivers. I use quite a bit of heat shrink. It's nice to have the correct size and an assortment of colors. I was a little concerned when reading negative reviews here about this not shrinking enough. In my experience, it shrinks just like any other heat shrink I've used over the last 50+ years. Buy with confidence, it's good stuff, lots of variety and a more than fair price.

Excellent Assortment in Organized Case
This heat shrink tubing kit is fantastic! The assortment with multiple colors and sizes covers virtually any project need. I really appreciate the organized case - makes it easy to find the right size quickly without digging through a jumbled mess, like I had before in my electronics and wiring tote. I used these and they performed flawlessly when repairing the wiring on my trusty CRV. They shrunk up quick when heat was applied (I used a lighter), to provide good protection and adhesive quality for soldered wires. The variety and quality for the price make this an incredible value. Perfect for DIY projects, automotive work, or electronics. Highly recommend keeping this kit in your toolbox!

Essential kit for clean wire insulation (2:1 Ratio tested)
Having technical training in electronics means I am constantly dealing with wiring, splicing, and circuit repairs. A reliable heat shrink tubing kit is a must-have on any workbench, and this Ginsco 580-piece set delivers exactly what it promises for an unbeatable price. 🔥 Shrink Performance & Quality: The 2:1 shrink ratio is accurate. I tested several sizes using a standard heat gun, and the tubing shrinks evenly and tightly around the wires without melting, splitting, or leaving sticky residue. It provides excellent electrical insulation and mechanical protection for exposed joints. 📦 Organization & Variety: The Sizes: The variety is fantastic. It covers everything from tiny gauge wires (great for repairing USB cables or small electronics) to larger power wires. Color Coding: Having 6 different colors is incredibly useful for color-coding grounds, live wires, or different signal channels in complex projects. The Case: The plastic organizer box keeps everything separated by size and color. It saves so much time compared to digging through a messy bag of loose tubes. Minor Detail to Keep in Mind: The plastic latches on the organizer box are a bit thin. I recommend opening it carefully and storing it flat so the smaller tubes don't mix into other compartments if the box gets tossed around. Final Verdict: Whether you are a professional working on circuit boards or just someone wanting to fix a frayed phone charger, this kit is an incredible value. Highly recommended!

Good kit, works as intended, but many sizes will end up in trash
Heat shrink tubing works exactly as expected. However, note that about half the sizes are clearly for extremely fine wires. I got these for replacing the TPS connector on my car, and most of the sizes are too small to fit around the solder joint on 20 awg wire- which is pretty thin wire. I cannot imagine I will ever do any soldering on wires much thinner, which means that probably half this kit is uselessly small. There are only a few sizes that are reasonable, and then there are huge ones, which I know, they shrink down, but look like they're for tying multiple wires together. I expect to run out of the 4 or 5 sizes that are useful, then have to throw out the rest of the box.

Good quality and alot of choices.
Im impressed with how many sizes they packed in this container. And the choice of colors is great. The ones ive already used heated cleanly and consistently.

Handy kit, works great
I bought this kit because I needed to shield an over-stripped wire for my dishwasher. I don't have a heat gun, and my hairdryer apparently doesn't get hot enough. Instead, I just used ran the flame from my zippo over the tubing to shrink it. It worked great. I can see myself using this on old power cords with cracked insulation in lieu of electrical tape. 580 pieces is definitely too much for my needs, but the price was right and it will last me, like, forever.

Many sizes to choose from.
Very Good Product. Cut to a good length where I'm able to use for hobbies or in my home. Will buy from again. Perfect for me and my husband to use.

A versatile heat shrink kit with good thickness and fast activation
A versatile heat shrink kit with good thickness and fast activation—just be careful to keep it away from your heat source while soldering. I used this for wire repairs and soldered connections. It performs well and seals tightly, but I found you need to keep the tubing about 4–6 inches away from the joint while soldering. If it’s too close, it can begin shrinking before you’re ready, which makes positioning more difficult. Slide the heat shrink as far as possible down the wire before soldering, then move it into place afterward to avoid premature shrinking. PROS Wide variety: Includes multiple sizes and colors, making it easy to match different wire gauges Good material thickness: Provides solid insulation and protection once shrunk Fast shrink response: Activates quickly with heat, saving time during installs Reliable seal: Once applied, it creates a secure, durable connection CONS Very heat-sensitive: Can start shrinking prematurely if it’s too close to your soldering area

Not bad at all
I maybe should have gone for the 3:1 shrink tubing, but this does the trick. Have already saved $$ by repairing things instead of replacing them. Good supply, should last a lifetime for general housework use.
