After seeing this product mentioned in a housekeeping article, I thought I'd give it a try for my sometimes-stinky trash compactor. I try not to put anything smelly in there, but eventually it develops a funk. Besides, there's a built-in nook for some sort of air filter on the machine, so why not. This filter has a few helpful hooks to keep it attached, though you could use a ziptie or twist-tie if you really wanted to. What I do notice now is..nothing. No smell, so I guess its a success!

It didn't work well

It is a bit pricy, but it does get rid of most of the odor in my fridge. Considering getting one for the trash can.

Flat out does not work for odor control, please do not buy this product, I left a bag of frozen vegetables in my mini fridge with a pack of meat that where supposed to be cooked on the barbeque at the same time. After an emergency came up the same night ,I forgot they where in there. A week later I opened the mini fridge too an awful surprise I tossed everything in there and let it air out for a few days. Then threw one of these in there and after more than a week of this product in there soaking up the smell it did absolutely nothing. Also before hand I scrubbed the crap out of it with simple green. This product is a waste of your time and money.

This odor eliminator works great. I do wish it lasted longer though. My fridge had a strong scent to it which would permeate the kitchen every time the fridge was opened. After having this product in my fridge for one day the scent was completely gone. The product only lasted about a month for me, but when it worked it worked perfectly.

I loved these when I was pregnant to help with the odor in my fridge. It seemed to be one of the only things that worked even if we threw almost everything out of our fridge...when your pregnant you can't hide from any smells. I ordered three this time and they were all outside of it's packaging. The glue did not hold the plastic cover to the paper, so it seemed old, and frankly, no one wants to buy something and receive it in poor packaging. These things don't come that cheap either.

I have two cats and their litter boxes are located in the laundry room where there is no window or exhaust system so it can get pretty smelly. Even though I scoop the litter boxes every day, the smell emanates from the laundry room door. I tried using several other odor eliminating products without success. I found the Innofresh Pet Odor Eliminator and used four of them over a period of two months, but it didn't completely eliminate the smell. Finally I tried one of these Innofresh Fridge Odor Absorbers and within 24 hours the smell was 99% gone! I even let one of the litter boxes go for an entire week without scooping just to test it but the smell was still gone! I doubt that it will last the advertised 4 months, but finally not having to smell the litter box smell every time I walk by the laundry room is worth buying one of these every month or two!

While this product may work for some it really didn't do what I needed it to do. I think baking soda works just as well. Just my 2 cents.
