Good supply
I saw some complaints about this power supply. It works fine for me. This isn't meant to be a bench power supply. It provides approximately 9V. My application has an on board voltage regulator so if the output has ripple it really doesn't matter. Most applications use an on board regulator. The fact that the center pin is positive is a non issue since with the exception of Radio Shack products I have yet to see anything that doesn't use a center positive. I would recommend this product.

It Works
I haven't checked the voltage level, or hooked it up to an oscilloscope to check for spikes and ripple, so I can't say much about the quality of the power, and 650ma will not power an LCD shield, but when I powered my Arduino Uno with it it worked fine.I have only used it for a few hours so I can't say much about reliability, except to repeat that so far it works fine.So far as far as I can tell, it works perfectly.

Didn't quite get what I expected, but is seems ok
So the Power Supply I received is not really much like the picture and the power rating doesn't match the spec. The Box the power supply came in matches the description, but it looks like the supply fell out of the box and the wrong one was put back it. I receive a 9.0Vdc 1000mA supply, which a much cheaper looking case. I am okay with the rating and the case, but I hope the inside is better than the case it was put in.

You want it? You Got it!
I bought this to power my Shruthi-1 synthesizer I built. It mates perfectly with that application. Supply is lightweight and again...it works without modification. If you're looking for this type of DC supply, get this one, end your search, begin the short wait until it arrives at your door. Plug it in, power up...and smile...Then thank Amazon that you didn't have to pay 'Rat Shak' $25 for a power supply that looks hideous.

Model MT-0520 - DOA
Appears that R1 (power resistor?) is open. Verified that 120 vac line in / 9 vdc line out continuity to the internal circuit board. Found clumsy post-production changes to +/-9 volt output lead wiring - the original 9 vdc output leads were snipped and soldered on circuit board foil side along with a (feedback blocking?) diode. Internal wire stripping and component soldering work, in my opinion, was below average. The adapter is CE marked, but I am uncertain whether it's Conformité Européenne or a China Export marking. The model MT-0520 is not something I would just plug-in and forget. I will look for another alternative to power my Arduino Uno.

Tips and info on these Wall adapters.
Purchased these to power guitar pedals without checking pin polarity or reading reviews first, bad move my part. Good news is it is very easy to open these and switch wires to make them the correct polarity. The case is not glued together just squeeze the sides of the larger case and pull apart. 2 tabs on each side unsolder the red an black wires, switch them around, resolder , carefully tuck everything back in and snap case close.Measured output voltage was 9.32v on one, 9.39v on the other. Plugged them in and so far so good.Did notice that the circuit board in each unit was built by different companies with different parts and layout.Worst part bout these is the plug orientation. Good on wall outlet, but if you are using a power strip these will take up 3 outlet spaces.Overall these seem to be ok for budget 9v power . O...and they are also labeled on the unit as 1000ma but on box they are labeled 650ma.

Power up arduino
I'm using this product to power up my Arduino motherboard and it does what it's advertised to do.I've had no issues with this product and up until now it has been reliable.Be sure to check this is compatible with the product you want to use it for.I would recommend this product if you have an arduino motherboard and plan on developing a mobile application without the need of a computer.
