Excellent value and build quality
This is a quality of life improvement I did not know I needed. I wanted a desk lamp that I could use to illuminate the center of my desk, but I didn't want to take up limited desk real estate. In my search for a lamp with a minimal footprint, I discovered the growing popularity of monitor mounted lamps and saw this one regularly featured for its quality compared to other far more expensive lights. I can understand why so many recommended it. The material quality is excellent, the clamp is surprisingly hefty, the materials are primarily metal, and the design is very clean. It doesn't feature an uplight for bias lighting, but I'd rather have a dedicated light for that purpose. I'm not concerned about the lack of RGB lighting, as I was interested in reducing eye strain and illuminating my desk, which the bi-color lighting serves perfectly. The range of brightness is excellent as well, I have no problems using it at night or during the day. The one con I've identified so far is that the control dial, while very responsive, is too sensitive. There are low resistance detents that provide tactile feedback when you rotate the dial. Ideally the brightness should change only when you've passed a detent, as their entire purpose is to be a form of tactile feedback that registers you've made an adjustment. Unfortunately the sensor detects the slight play between detents, making the haptic feedback superfluous and the brightness control somewhat erratic. Simply wiggling the dial slightly without ever passing a detent causes the brightness to jump up and down until it reaches either max or minimum brightness. If I'm trying to make a fine adjustment of one brightness level, the lamp will often suddenly increase or decrease an extra level than intended. It is also frustrating when having to combine this with pressing the dial to change the color temperature and having the temperature get warmer or colder in increments you did not intend. It's not such a huge issue that I have any regrets. I still fully recommend this lamp, I just hope they address this problem in any future revisions.

Best of the budget pack. Any more expensive, then you might as well get a BenQ.
I was researching vigorously on whether to purchase this Xiaomi Light Bar or the BenQ Halo Light bar. I believe the difference in price between the two units is about $100, with the Xiaomi being the more affordable option. I'll admit, I was wowed by all the bells and whistles that the BenQ Halo had to offer, but I'd figure I'd try the Xiaomi Lightbar first. And if I didn't like it, I'd just give it to my sister. But it turns out I really like this light bar. It's really the lack of bells and whistles that make me like this product so much. It's a very straight-forward product. I won't describe it here, but everything that it does, it does well enough. It's bright enough for my needs, when working late at night, and the color temperatures are sufficient as well. I don't need it to have crazy colors or blinking lights; I just need a cooler tone for the day, and a warmer tone for the evening. The wireless remote for the unit is cool, but a little flimsy. It's a matte black dial, with no etchings or descriptors on it, which fits the aesthetic of my desk. So that's a plus. When actually using it though, the dial feels flimsy, like the disk is about to unscrew itself. You press-in to turn the light bar on or off, but sometimes it doesn't register my press, which can be annoying. The one thing that I do like on the BenQ Halo is that there is an attachment that you can purchase that sits on the top of the light bar mount to hang your webcam off of. My webcam doesn't seem to want to work with my haphazard rigging onto the light bar, so it's off to the side, which isn't a great angle. Oh well. Overall, I really liked that I went with this Xiaomi light bar as opposed to the BenQ Halo light bar. I realized that I don't really need all the bells and whistles that the Halo offers, and that this Xiaomi bar is the best of the budget group. Besides the wireless remote, I haven't had much problems with this product. It tells me that sometimes all the bells and whistles of a product can get in the way of what you simply need sometimes.

Life changer!
I've been working from home for 10+ years and I've recently taken interest in a minimalist desk setup. A more expensive brand of light kept coming up on popular influencer's blogs and videos but I just couldn't fathom spending that much on a lamp. I'm happy to report that this Xiaomi light exceeds my expectations for the price point. It's well built, feels premium, and works brilliantly (no pun intended). I appreciate that the wireless remote is included as I find it frustrating that competitors make you purchase one separately. Naturally I have some hesitation about buying products from lesser known manufacturers, but in this case I'm extremely satisfied and glad I bought this light. I titled this review as a life changer because it really has made an improvement on my desk setup and fatigue looking at my monitor 10+ hours a day. I had a desk lamp before which didn't illuminate my desk very well, was a nuisance in my periphery, and cluttered my desk space. The light bar has made a difference because it draws my attention and focus to just my monitor. If you're on the fence about which light bar to go with, I highly recommend this one. It's well priced, great quality, and easy to use right out of the box.

A good alternative to the more expensive versions
I've been interested in these type of light bars for a while now. I know there are the more expensive ones, and also some much less expensive ones. I was afraid to buy the less expensive ones, as you often get what you pay for, but I felt the more expensive ones were just charging a premium as well. I saw some reviews of this one, and thought it was a good mid-level compromise. All in all, I'm quite happy. The light bar has good features and good build quality, without the high price. I bought two of them and I'm using them on my 32" monitor, as one isn't long enough for that size screen. The build quality is very good. The mounts work well, and I think would work for most types of monitors. Note however that if the back of your monitor has a curve to it (even if the front is flat), these probably won't work as well - I tried to mount them on a Benq BL3200 which has a curved back, and I wasn't happy. I'm using them on an HP Envy 32" and they are fine. The USB C cords plug into the top of the mount. If they plugged into the back, farther down, then you could hide the wires. As is, the USB C wires could be a bit visible, depending upon your setup. The remote control puck is covered with a soft-feeling material, but it really shows fingerprints. I would have preferred a different material that doesn't show fingerprints. Maybe that's my biggest "complaint". The light sticks to the mount with magnets and you can adjust the angle fairly easily. There is a good amount of adjustment, however, it would have been nice if there were a way to adjust them to point straight forward so they could be used as a light for your face during a video conference. They don't adjust up quite that far. Normally you would keep them pointed down as much as possible without illuminating the screen, and for that purpose, the adjustment amount is fine. The remote control works well. Press it to turn the light on, and press again to turn the light off. Turn it to set the brightness, which has a good adjustment range. Press and turn to adjust the color, which again, has a good range of adjustment and enough steps in the color temperature range to suit any need. It is a bitt easy to turn the dial by accident when turning the light on, thus making either a slight color or brightness change when turning on. Not a huge deal, but the dial turns a bit loosely and if it didn't turn as easily, it would be less likely to turn when pushing down. When you turn the lights off and back on, they remember their setting, both color and brightness. You can set one remote to control multiple lights. This is a very nice feature when using more than one on a larger monitor. There are a few things to note: First, there are NO controls on the light bar itself. To change the brightness and color, you have to use the remote dial. Secondly, if power is removed and restored, the light will turn on; this is most likely the desired mode of operation, but it is something to keep in mind when deciding where to plug in the USB cable for power. If you plug it into the USB port on a monitor, and you turn the monitor off, when you turn it back on, the light WILL turn on at the same time. I would buy these again for other computers in my house, and recommend them to others. I don't see a need to purchase the premium brands, and based on other reviews I've seen, the less expensive knock-offs have enough shortcomings to make it not worth it to save a few dollars. PROS: * Good build quality * Remote control is handy * Angle of adjustment is good * Range of brightness and color adjustment is good and has fine steps * Light bar remembers brightness and color settings when turned off and back on * Can pair one remote to more than one light bar * Good length, but two might be better for a 32" or ultrawide monitor CONS: * Remote control puck collects fingerprints * USB wires could be visible as they connect on top of the mount * No controls on the light bar itself - must use remote * Remote can turn when pressing the dial to turn on/off, thus changing brightness or color a bit * Light can't point directly forward to use as light for video conference calls * Mount may not be great on a monitor with a curved back, especially if using multiple light bars

Fits the bill
I picked this up because I needed an inexpensive light to have over my desk and this seemed to fit the bill. Setup and installation was quite simple as it just lightly clamps to the top of the monitor (including curved monitors). If you have no bezel at the top you do not need to worry about excessive pressure on the screen. You can set the brightness to your liking and you can also set the color of the light. It does have some adjustment so you can turn it to make sure that it is not creating a glare on your monitor.

Excellent Light Bar
After a full year of using the Xiaomi Mi Computer Monitor Light Bar, I can confidently say it’s one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my desk setup. The lighting is extremely comfortable on the eyes, especially during long work sessions at night. Since it mounts on top of the monitor and shines directly onto the desk, it lights up the workspace perfectly without causing glare on the screen. That small design choice makes a big difference when you spend hours in front of a computer. A nice bonus I discovered is that because of the magnetic clips, my OBSBOT Meet SE 1080P 100FPS webcam clicks perfectly on top of the light bar without needing the included mount. It actually makes the camera placement even cleaner and keeps my monitor setup looking minimal.

Suddenly stopped working
I bought this item July 6, 2022 so in all fairness I have been using it for a few years, but this light bar has sat atop my monitor since the first day I got it; the remote control sat in the same spot in my desk the entire time. I changed the batteries a couple times over the years and worked great. All of a sudden my remote control stopped working. I tried replacing the batteries, held down the button for 20 seconds to re-pair the control and didn’t do anything. At least my light was turned on when the remote control stopped working so the light is on, but I have to physically unplug/plug in to turn the light off/on. I’ve tried reaching out to Xiaomi and haven’t heard anything. Their live chat is absolutely trash, they have you wait for 30+ mins for a live agent and then no one shows up, you just get a pop-up to submit a survey response on how their service was. It’s trash. But I guess you get what you pay for. Disposable goods

Solid Budget Monitor Light Bar That Gets the Job Done
This light bar is a great addition to my setup for improving visibility on my desk, especially at night. It really helps reduce eye strain and makes it easier to see what I’m working on without lighting up the whole room. It’s not the premium version with all the extra features, but for the price, it performs really well. The build is simple and functional, and it does exactly what I needed it to do. The small control dial can feel a bit finicky at times, but it’s not a major issue once you get used to it. Overall, it’s a solid, budget-friendly option that improves your workspace without overcomplicating things. I would definitely buy it again at this price point.

Illuminazione perfetta e controllo wireless comodo

Excellent Purchase
I'd been looking on and off a light bars. After watching a number of YouTube videos and reading reviews I chose the Xiaomi Light Bar. The quality of life improvement having the light bar in place has been far greater than I would have imagined. It has proven to be a huge upgrade for my desk. It makes working during the day a lot more comfortable and then reduces eye strain at night when gaming. The light bar is very well made and the materials look and feel good quality. The light bar is very minimalist on the top of the monitor. It was easy to setup and adjust. Adjusting the brightness and colour temperature is very quick and easy. The light produced is very directional and I've had no issues with glare or reflections on the screen, or light shinning into my eyes. A couple of points to consider, the mounting bracket is quite heavy to counterbalance the light bar. If you're monitor is on an arm, you may need to tighten it up. As the light bar is heavy enough to gradually weigh it down. You may also need to consider your webcam, mine is small and light enough to be able to balance on top of the light bar. The only knit picks I have and these are very minor. The way the power cable sticks up seems like an after thought. Its just not as neat as the overall design is. Its really only an issue if you're trying to sit you webcam on top as it make it a bit harder to position. The other thing is the base of the remote is not grippy enough. When I turn it to adjust the brightness, it ends up slipping on the desk top and the whole thing rotates rather than just the control surface. Overall this has been an excellent purchase. If you've been thinking about getting a light bar, just do it, you will be very glad you did.

alınması gereken bir ürün
almadan önce gereksiz geliyordu fakat alalı 8 ay oldu gayet güzel ve kullanışlı. Bence alınmalı karanlık odada pc kullanıyorsanız çok rahat bi kullanım sağlıyor, ekran kapalıyken açtığınızda tozları çok belli ediyor ama ekran açıkken sorun olmuyor
