The most difficult are the boxes which you need to put small flannelette tubes inside to make the sides of the boxes stand up to form a box. They are difficult because the top & bottom of boxes are covered in flannelette and it's hard to get the screws into the hole of the tube inside the box. I found it's best to put screw thru flannel on outside if box, slightly angle the bottom of the tube, look inside and align hole with the screw then back out screw until it's barely visible straighten the tube and screw in. It did take me 2 1/2 hrs to put the boxes together, but I did it. I'm a lively 71 yrs old woman and I got it done, but my hands were very sore the next day. **Q: How much weight can i hold?** A: it says the small tree (54in) holds 44 pounds, and the bigger trees (61in and 70in) hold 77 pounds. i have the largest tree (70in) and it’s very sturdy and stable. **Q: How big is the base** A: The base is 19 x 19 in. **Q: Is there a toxic smell to this product?** A: No I didn't smell anything at all and I have a very good sense of smell for things.
