## Description

Product description We created the perfect everlasting Wakesurfing wave If you want the perfect wave for wakesurfing, simply add the SWELL Wakesurf Creator to the side of your boat, and on the opposite side of the boat it will create the perfect large, long surf wave with plenty of push and curl! W hat SWELL Wakesurf Creator Does The SWELL Wakesurf Creator dramatically increases wake size, allows you to load your ballast and people evenly throughout the boat, switch surfing sides in a few seconds, and overall makes your surf experience much more enjoyable. SWELL uses the same hydrodynamics the factories use on new 100K+ boats. F eatures H igh-Performance Suction Cups: We searched high and low for the perfect solution that is easy to install and remove, yet has tremendous holding power to withstand speeds up to 14MPH. M arine Grade Materials: O ur UV-protected marine grade polymer and stainless steel parts are built for strength and durability in any water. U niversal - Works with most boats: C ompletely transform your inboard or V-Drive wake for outstanding wakesurfing with SWELL Wakesurf Creator C lean Design: L ong lasting, easy to store, and super simple to install. Easy Installation Simply attach the SWELL Wakesurf Creator by pressing both suction cups firmly against the hull of the boat and flip the locking levers. Install on the opposite side of the surfer, 3"-4" below the water line when the boat is fully loaded. You will need an area 5"x13" for it to properly attach. Install on Opposite Side Simply install the SWELL Wakesurf Creator to the non-surf side of the boat. The SWELL Wakesurf Creator delays convergence of the opposite wave, allowing the surf wave to get longer, larger and have more push. The SWELL Wakesurf Creator attaches with two powerful suction cups that can be removed and applied in a few seconds to the other side of the boat. No Need to Weight Your Boat to One Side You can load your ballast and people evenly throughout the boat. This allows the driver and everyone else on board to have a much more enjoyable and safe ride.

Review: Great product! Great value! Amazing results! - Amazing product! We own a 2010 MasterCraft X2 with stock ballast plus additional fat sacs in both lockers and the bow. Prior to Swell Wakesurf Creator we would fill ballast on the side of the boat we were surfing and played around with % of bow weight all with disappointing results. We would get a sloppy wave with a very small sweet spot. We were constantly losing the wave; very frustrating. I watched videos and read blogs with 100’s of varying opinions on creating the best wave for surfing. I’m doing so, I stumbled across some different wave shapers. I picked this one mostly based on price (it was considerably less than some of the others I saw (less than 1/2 the price of some). When it arrived, I was initially disappointed. It seemed to me that it wouldn’t attach to my hull design below the water line (the X2 has a stair-step hull at the stern). But, once the boat was in the water with ALL the ballast tanks full, the water line lowered to the only spot the suction cups would attach to. The wave is beautiful: clean, long, and about waste high. No more losing the wave. No more filling one side and then having to empty that side and fill the opposite for the goofy riders. We keep all the tanks full and simply move the SWC to from one side to the other. The regular side wave is a bit better than the goofy on our boat. I assume it has something to do with the prop rotation. I don’t know that I have before and after photos or videos, but I’ll upload a video of the wave with the Swell Wakesurf Creator in place (I recently discovered wakesurfing; you won’t be impressed with the rider). The product seems to be well made and it floats! I keep it tethered when I’m use, but it’s good to know it’s not going to the bottom of the lake if dropped.
Review: Great product! I was hesitant based on some of ... - Great product! I was hesitant based on some of the negative reviews. It seems like they fixed everything in the new 2.0 version. Performance- my wife hates driving a listed boat. No more moving bags side to side (for goofy riders) and driving crooked. BIG PLUS! Also, I have a few larger riders so I was afraid it wouldn't push a big enough wave for them, that's my buddy 6'3" 230lbs, no problem! Build- seems to be a solid build and looks good for the price point, I was afraid it would be cheap looking and feel cheap. I like the size, I have seen a few different ones at dealers that are larger which would make storing one more thing on the boat even harder. As far as sharp edges, I don't see any Issues, I have three small kids and it doesn't concern me at all. Love the fact it floats, I really don't want to teather anything to my boat and risk damage to the side or swim platform. Although it does come with a teather in case you want to use one. Overall, you can't beat it for the price if you want to try one. They defiantly work!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do you have to apply this to the boat out of the water or are you able to change sides while the boat is in the water?**
A: It is super easy to switch from side to side and to install it in the water. You can put it on while floating in the water or by simply leaning over the side of the boat.

**Q: does it work on a 1994 ski nautique and where to install?**
A: Yes. You’ll want it on the opposite side of the surfer, as far back and as low as possible. We also recommend ballast for the best wave.

**Q: will this work on the 2016 scarab 215**
A: If you can send me pic of boat where it would sit under water I can tell you. I had to send it back I have a mastercraft and it has a ridge where it would mount and would not work. All my friends that have a smooth place to mount it says it works great

**Q: Will this product work on a tri-toon?**
A: No. Does not work on pontoons

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Cheaper Option.
*by A***D on August 4, 2017*

Update 8/8/2017 Was able to get out onto the water with the swell and do some testing vs the Mission Delta, as well as vs no device. First impression was a little disappointing. As I unwrapped the safety cord, I was sad to see that it did not come with a clasp and so a not has to be tied when it is used instead of simply clipping it to the boat, perhaps this is part of the cost savings to reach a lower price point, but seems a little short as the device still costs a couple hundred bucks and a clip would have cost a few cents. Moving past that the device did indeed float, but while that is listed as a reason it doesn't need a tether, even floating, it can be a challenge to find something on the water if you are not sure where it came off. The Mission Delta also floats, but provided a very nice hookup cable with clasp. In great part this review is a comparison to the Mission Delta device, which I have used for the last year and have been quite happy with. You can read my Mission Delta review here: http://amzn.to/2fem6jH Attaching it to the boat, I immediately missed my Mission Delta. There are two many differences. When pressing either up against the boat, while in the water, you are also pushing yourself away from the boat. This makes it a little challenging to set the device as if you do not get suction quickly you are almost immediately no longer touching the suction cup to the boat. While neither is hard to do this with quickly, it is hard to get it in the right location, which testing has shown matters, quickly. With the Mission Delta, I am able to set one cup quickly and sloppily and then adjust the positioning, setting the second cup well, and then repositioning the first cup. This procedure did not work with the Swell. Once I set the first cup, I could not move the device at all. This made getting it low and back as far as possible challenging and a little frustrating. It took me several attempts before I was able to set it. The attachment process is complicated by the need to "burp" the suction cups to remove as much air as possible before setting the clip, in order to get the best seal. The "burp" is done by pressing the clasp into the suction cup before closing the clasp. All that said, the suction created by the swell was clearly stronger than the Mission Delta. While that is a good thing in general, it is pretty moot as I have never had an issue with the Mission Delta coming off even when I forget to remove it and am going 35, it easily stays attached at the 8-12 surf speed. With the device attached, it was time to test the wake. We had weighted the boat to our sweet spot, about 1500 lbs upfront, 750 lbs center, and 2500 in the back evenly distributed, it's a 25 ft boat, takes a lot of weight. The wave still looked like trash. Slop coming down both sides of the peak with no definition. Starting up now with the SWELL in place, this immediately changes, the wave takes shape becomes well defined. The Swell is doing it's job, and I am ready to surf. The wave is a little different than the Mission Delta wave we have become used to. The wave is not as "long" meaning that, face of the wave is closer to parallel with the rear of the boat, and less parallel to the side of the boat, or said differently it faces the people in the boat more than the Mission Delta wave does. This difference means that the wave will feel a little bigger (it is not), and the wave will have greater "push" to the rider, making it a bit easier to ride especially for Mr. 280lbs like me. On the downside, it means less surface area to work with when doing tricks (I'm not there yet, but my buddies are). We could adjust the situation by adding additional weight forward in the boat to elongate the wave, but we are already at risk of scooping up the wave when picking up a down rider, with the amount of weight we have upfront. With the swell attached, turning the boat against the device becomes very difficult, in fact the boat just isn't really willing to turn against it. I am told this is more comparable to the wake plates that are common on the newer wakesetters, the devices that inspired these alternative devices, for those of us who can't buy a 2018 boat. The Mission Delta was not nearly as notable in this regard, while some challenge was felt, I frequently still turned against the Mission Delta when picking up a rider. There is another side effect caused by this. The front of our boat when loaded this way will easily dip below the peak of the surf wave we create if we turn into it, resulting in a bit of a tidal wave of water coming onboard. Our practice is to stop and let the wave pass before turning, but the Swell has a mind of it's own and will start that process prematurely if we do not pay attention. All in all though the Swell does the job, it is not too difficult to work with and I do not have a problem recommending it. However, it is not a clear replacement for the Mission Delta, and we will be keeping both on the boat, to suit rider preference. See my pictures attached as comparison and mark my review if you found it helpful. There are also a number of links in my original review below, check them out if you have the time or just to say thank you for the time I spent preparing this review. -------------------- Pre-boating reivew Received this yesterday and wanted to post some preliminary results. I have and love the Mission Delta, but have been very curious about the SWELL solution and how it compares to the Mission Delta. You can read my Mission Delta review here http://amzn.to/2fem6jH The Swell appears better built than I had expected. It is substantially heavier than the Mission Delta. It appears that it may take more space, as the Mission Delta nests well around a corner in my boat, but if it delivers, I'll make room. I was happy to see that it had an included tether, though the tether is not as nice as the one on the Mission Delta. The suction cups seem to cup significantly more than the Mission Delta cups do. This should provide substantially more hold potentially, but I have not had an issue with the Mission Delta moving ever. I will say that I am looking forward to testing both of these on Saturday, and mostly to surfing the best surf possible. I'll update once I have the new info.
