Ideal Genetics Lab
Excellent lab to complete and close out of Genetics and Heredity unit for 7th Grade Science. The students absolutely engaged in determining their genotype by testing their phenotype.

Read the Labels to ensure a proper experience
Really great little experiment for my classroom. Just be sure to read the packages, I didn't realize I had given out some of the control papers when I meant to give out the PTC test lol.

Exactly what we needed
I used this with a high school math class. They loved performing the experiment and analyzing data to determine if being able to taste the PTC was related to gender, hair color, or ability to smell. The strips performed exactly as expected. We did cut them in half to have more, but that was still large enough to tell if you could taste it.
