It will NOT play region B Blurays or region 2 DVDs which are meant for the UK & Europe. However I have a collection of R1 DVDs so was looking for a player to do this, so this fits the bill. Some reviews have mentioned it also coming with a power supply for North America, however mine came with a power supply for UK/Ireland sockets which suited me fine. The player needs a 12 volt DC supply, so if you want this player it’s easy enough to pick up a power supply for UK/Ireland/European sockets.
