It showed a blurry image even when using the oil immersion technique. I tried multiple times by adjusting the coarse focus knob, fine focus knob, and condenser lens, but it did not improve. - The 40x objective lens had dirt or dust particles inside. It displayed black dots on the image. I was able to see RBCs as well from the provided prepared slide. 1. Build quality is sturdy. Metal body with black and white finish. 2. I got 2 pair of eyepieces (25x and 10x). 3. I was able to get a great view from the oil lens. 4. I also got a pre-prepared slide with RBCs. There are many empty slides and slide covers provided as well. 5. The microscope has 3 objective lenses: Sp100 (oil lens), sp4 and sp10.
