Is it safe to add mouthwash or other additives in my water flosser?

Yes, but please do not exceed a 1:1 ratio of water to mouthwash. You can also add therapeutic mouth rinse (as prescribed by your dental professional) or hydrogen peroxide (3%). After, run a full reservoir of clean warm water though unit to rinse.

Remove reservoir: Slide release to unlock & pull down; clean in top rack dishwasher (air/non-heated dry) or hand wash Monthly: Add 1 part white vinegar + 2 parts warm water to reservoir, run through unit; repeat with full reservoir of warm water only
