Excellent Product at a Good Price
This heater puts out good heat with substantial air flow. Temperature, heating rate and air flow are all adjustable with easy to use remote control or by controls on the unit. It fits almost anywhere, being not much larger than a loaf of bread. There are no external hot spots and it shuts off automatically if it tips over. It is very quiet. I hardly notice it when it is six feet away running at maximum air flow. I bought four of them.

this heater is the bomb. highly recommend.
i love this little heater. it kicks butt. it heats a large room very well and gets up to temp within 30s. pretty impressive. i also love the temp control, remote, and oscillating feature. overall, it’s lightweight, small, and is a great price for how much it heats a room without eating up electricity. 10/10

Safe for patio use
When the temperatures drop, keeping a colony of community cats safe and warm becomes a top priority. I picked up the DREO 1500W PTC Ceramic Heater to provide a consistent heat source for their sheltered area during the colder months, and it has been a fantastic addition. Here is why this heater stands out for this specific use: Fast and Consistent Heat: The 1500W PTC ceramic technology is incredibly efficient. It starts blowing warm air almost instantly, which is vital when the wind-chill kicks in. It keeps their enclosed space at a steady, comfortable temperature without any hot spots. Safety First: Since this is used in an area with active animals, the safety features were non-negotiable for me. The tip-over protection and overheat protection provide huge peace of mind. If a cat gets a bit too rambunctious and knocks it over, it shuts off immediately. Quiet Operation: Many heaters have a loud, mechanical whine that can spook feral or skittish cats. This DREO model is impressively quiet, allowing the cats to relax and sleep without being bothered by a constant drone. Compact & Portable: It’s small enough to fit into tighter sheltered spaces but powerful enough to warm a decent-sized area. The built-in handle makes it easy to move around as I adjust their winter setup. This is a high-quality, dependable product that does exactly what it promises. It’s been a game-changer for my outdoor feline friends, ensuring they stay cozy even on the harshest nights. If you need a safe, effective heater for a similar project, I highly recommend this one.

Good safety features and great value
I’ve been using this Dreo space heater for working from home and at night, and overall it’s been great. I don’t really use the oscillation feature much, but the Eco mode is genuinely useful. It works like the opposite of an AC unit. Instead of keeping the room at or below a set temperature, it keeps it at or above it, which is exactly what I want in the winter. For its size, it puts out plenty of heat. I keep it about five feet away from my bed and it easily keeps me warm at night. During the day, I run it near my desk and it heats my space well without blasting me. I usually keep it about half a foot to a foot away from the wall and manually turn it depending on where I’m sitting, so I don’t bother carrying the remote around. That said, having the remote at my bedside is very convenient for turning it on or off without getting up. The noise level is very reasonable. It’s about on par with a white noise machine. You can hear that it’s on if you’re in the same room, but it’s not obnoxious or distracting, and I can comfortably sleep with it running. People in other units can’t hear it, and I can’t hear it from other rooms in my apartment. I also haven’t noticed any obvious spike in my energy bill, which is a plus. The overheat protection is reassuring, especially once you understand how it works. Keeping the filter clean is important, but after that it runs consistently and safely. I also really like the overall design. The touch-style buttons on the top feel modern and are easy to use. One important note: do not plug this heater into a surge protector. Plug it directly into a wall outlet. I learned this the hard way and overheated an outlet using a surge protector. My apartment maintenance fixed it without issue, but that could be a bigger problem for homeowners. Standard space heater safety applies here. Keep it away from flammable items and turn it off when you leave the house. For the price, this heater is a great value. Considering the heat output, safety features, and the included remote, it feels well worth the cost for a small room or bedroom. For reference, I have mine placed about 2.5 feet off the ground on a wooden shelf, and it works perfectly in that setup.

Good heater. More like a 4.5 star, with one minor issue
If I could give this 4.5 stars I would. It's not quite a 5-star only because *occasionally*, there is some noise when it is oscillating. The heater itself is very quiet, and the oscillation is mostly quiet, but I wonder if over time the currently-occasional noise will become more frequent. For my needs, however, I rarely use the oscillation feature, and I really like the heater otherwise. I’ve purchased and tested several small, 1500 watt heaters recently, and am posting mostly the same review with all four of them. To my surprise the Lasko Ellipse was my *least* favorite. I wanted the Lasko to be the best, since it has the best warranty of those I tested (3 years vs 1 year), but I really didn’t like the way it operated, so much that I returned it. Overall, the three Dreo models and the Lasko performed very similarly, with the Lasko being *slightly* louder, but still what I would be considered to be quiet – much quieter than my older Amazon Basics heater and a couple of other older, analog-control heaters. My problem was with the controls on the Lasko: • If you turn it off, it always comes on in the highest (H3) mode, not the last-used mode (i.e. Eco mode, which is the only thermostatically controlled mode). In comparison, the Dreo’s not only remember when powered off, they remember if they lose power / are unplugged. • Because it starts in the highest mode, that is a surge of power (potentially over 1875 watts briefly). • It consumes the most power when off (1.1 watts). On the other hand, it’s the only one of the 4 I tested with illuminated buttons, which dim so you can still see them in the dark to turn the heater on, etc. Possibly a small plus for Lasko is that the oscillation is a little faster than the Dreo. As for ALL of the digital temperature control models I tried, the all have these issues: • ALL use considerable power (near 1000 W) even at their lowest (H1) setting. At that setting it puts out a lot of heat. For some that may be good, but for one of the applications I had in mind, which was near my feet in my office, it’s simply too much heat. It’s fine if you’re at least several feet away from the heater, but not when too near.. • NONE allow you to use the thermostat only at the lowest (i.e. H1) setting. H1, H2, H3 are all CONSTANT ON heat. “Eco” mode is when the thermostat comes into play. They do seem to reduce the power used (to produce less heat) as it nears the threshold you set for it to turn off. This does seem to work well on all models. • NONE seem to have an accurate thermostat, HOWEVER they’re accurate “enough”. For example, if you want it 70, you might need to set it for 73, but that’s not a big deal to me. I just adjust to whatever is comfortable, and let it take it from there. Also, they all have what I believe is a reasonable amount of hysteresis, where they allow the temperature to fluctuate between a bit above to a bit below the set-temperature, much like your home thermostat does. If you’re expecting it to maintain a perfectly constant temperature, good luck finding anything that will do that. (Comparing them to the much less expensive, older, analog Amazon Basics model I have, all of these digital models have less temperature swing.) I would consider all 4 tested models to be quiet. When in the thermostatically controlled mode, they all seem to speed up the fan (and crank up the heat) if the set temperature is well above the room temperature, then slow the fan down (and crank out less heat) as the room temperature approaches the set temperature. Notable features of each heater: Lasko Ellipse CD12950 • Oscillating • Illuminated top control buttons, which remain on (but dim after a brief period) • Control lock (great if you have toddlers or pets) • 2 fan-only speeds • Timer has 30-minute increments (vs. 1hr on others) • Does NOT remember last state when powered off and back on! (Always powers on to H3. This was my main reason for returning it.) • Single button to cycle through H3, H2, H1, eco (thermostat), F2, F1 modes, +/- button to change temperature setting when in that mode. • I do not recall if front display stays on bright, dims or turns off after awhile, and I’ve already sent it back so I cannot check. Dreo Atom 316 DR-HSH006 • Round design is somewhat unique. • Control lock (great if you have toddlers or pets) • Powers on to last mode. • Single button to cycle between H (always on), “eco” (thermostat controlled) and fan-only, with +/- buttons to change temperature in eco mode or cycle between H3, H2, H1 when in always-on mode. • Front panel (temperature setting, H1,H2,etc.) is always on and bright when heater is on. This may be bad for some if intended use is in a bedroom. • Least expensive of the 4 I bought. Dreo Atom One DR-HSH004 (THIS ITEM) • Oscillating • Electrostatic filter (see photo), which is easily removable for cleaning. IMO, all heaters should have this to keep out dust and extend their lifespan. • No control lock! • Powers on to last mode. • Single button to cycle between H (always on), “eco” (thermostat controlled) and fan-only, with +/- buttons to change temperature in eco mode or cycle between H3, H2, H1 when in always-on mode. • Front panel (temperature setting, H1,H2,etc.) turns off after 1 minute, leaving a tiny white icon indicating either fan, “eco” or constant-on, and a tiny red icon indicating the heater is plugged in. Dreo Quiet Space DR-HSH007 • Oscillating • Control lock (great if you have toddlers or pets) • Can turn off beep (so is silent when pressing controls) • Single button to cycle between H3, H2, H1, Fan modes, while touching the +/- buttons switches to eco mode or adjusts temperature while in eco mode. • Front panel (temperature setting, H1,H2,etc.) turns off after 1 minute, leaving a tiny white icon indicating either fan, “eco” or constant-on, and a tiny red icon indicating the heater is plugged in. Of the Dreo models, I'd have to say my least favorite is the round Dreo DR-HSH006. Since I've only used it to test it, I may send it back and get another Dreo DR-HSH004 if it goes on sale again before my return window closes, even though it's a bit more expensive since it oscillates. I definitely like that the DR-HSH-004 has an electrostatic filter to keep dust from being sucked through it and that the display mostly turns off after a minute, unlike the DR-HSH006 Aesthetically, however, IMO, the round DR-HSH006 is a little nicer looking. I’m attaching a picture showing the power consumption of each, which I measured with a Kill-a-watt meter. The chart also includes an older analog model just as a reference.

Very Reliable, Very Portable
3 years now since I’ve first ordered this heater and I still absolutely loveee itt. Writing this review has made me realize how much we’ve been through together lol. It was perfect for warming up my HUGE room in my old house! With being up stairs and an older build the central heater never reached my room, but this little thang got the job done!! Very reliable, very portable it was used for my dog fresh out of surgery when she needed to be warm. Then it moved to work with me when I started a new job, and it was always freezing in there. Again she was used after I had my baby who at the time was a newborn and always cold, so best believe this heater was up and running before every diaper change and after every bath! It works quick, I love the different heat levels, and the fact that you can choose to have it set still or rotate and it comes with a little remote so you don’t have to get up to crank her on when it’s freezing! All in all it’s truly a great product I even influenced my mom to get one for her job 🤣

Full featured compact heater
This heater works well; is compact and easy to use. I like the fact that it goes through a cool down cycle when you turn it off or the timer expires. It has many convenient features: Timer, remote control, oscillation and three different heater settings (1000, 1300 and 1500 watts).

Small & Mighty!
By far the best space heater I've ever owned! It has a beautiful and elegant design with some really nice control options. The top has an easy to use set of touch-sensitive button pads and it comes with a sleek looking remote that works from across the room from approximately 12 feet away. The front of the unit has a bright and easy to read LED readout that turns off after about a minute, so as not annoy you visually. It is so quit, that I often forget it is even there. You can use the programmed settings of Low, Medium, and High (H1, H2, H3) or adjust a digital thermostat to your liking with the temperature you desire which will show on the LED readout as, say "60" degrees. It will turn off when it reaches that temperature and turn back on when it needs to - or keep going if it needs to. It also has an osculation feature, to sweep the heat side-to-side, that can be controlled by both the top touch pad or the remote and is as quit as a whisper too. You can set a timer to turn it off and silence the "beeps" it makes for audio feedback. The cord is 5 feet long, but does not have a grounded plug, which seems common for space heaters. When turning the unit off, the LED display will count down the temperature of the heating element before turning off completely. The "Tip-Over" safety feature immediately turns off the unit and the LED display will read the current temperature as it cools down during the shut off phase (Caution: The front heating plate will still remain hot, but the heating element will not be powered.) The unit is designed to not turn on, on it's own, after a power interruption or tip-over event. It is approximately the size of a standard 2-slice toaster, but so much nicer to look at! For years I've been using a Sunbeam SQH310 that uses Radiant Quartz as the heating element and is 6 times the size of this little thing. The Dreo Space Heater uses a Ceramic element for heat and produces so much more heat than the big, bulky (and ugly), space heater I use to use. The air flow is also so much better; I could stand in front of my old space heater and barely feel a thing on its highest setting in the room before it shut off due to overheating, I can place this 2-3 feet away and feel it well enough to be nice and comfortable if I am really wanting to get warm quickly. And it heats my entire room (with door closed) after an hour or so, depending on how cold it is [I live in the mid-south, tested at high 30's - low 40's at the moment]. I immediately purchased a second unit and would highly recommend this for enclosed spaces, such as bedrooms, offices, bathrooms, etc. It's a great value at this price and really pumps out some nice heat. FOR SAFETY - DO NOT use this device with an extension cord, a power strip, or while sharing an outlet with another device. It should only be used on a dedicated power outlet, with no other devices plugged in. BURN WARNING - As with all space heaters; The front, metal, heat-shield will remain hot during use and even after the unit is shut off. To prevent personal injury or propriety damage, please read and understand all included usage instructions and safety warnings.

This heater is good, very good
What great quality this little heater is. Superb finish throughout with easy to use controls and an effective remote. It came well packed and was easy to set up. We use it to take the chill of a Summer house at the bottom of the garden that we use through out the winter. At 3m square this little heater quickly heats it up with the rotating head filling all corners. The Eco mode keeps the temperature at a set level and it is not to noisy either. All in all a great little heater and well recommended. You will not be disappointed

Buen producto

Great!
Its amazing for my office and bedroom. We had bad isolation wich means in the winter it got as cold as being outside in the snow. But after about 20 minutes it was a cozy and warm! It also has a fan mode for the summer days!
