This is a good quality solder wick. The flux that is on the copper braid helps to "wet" the melted solder so that it is absorbed into the braid. Using a solder sucker first to get most of the solder and then following with the wick leaves a fairly clean area. It is easy to use, but you need to hold the part or circuit board with a helping hand so that you have two hands available for the job. One hand holds the wick at the part to be desoldered and the other hand holds the iron/wick against the part. A typical solder joint may use an inch or more of wick to really get it clean. overall, the product is effective for the intended job.

The plastic roll it comes in is a bit hard to open and close, but it’s easy to just pull out a bit at a time when it is closed by leaving a bit hanging out. It does the job well, but be sure to cut into small strips when using so the whole roll does not act like a heat sync.

Good product, works as intended for an incredibly affordable price. The only downside is the tray that holds the iron is light and can slide easily if not secured to a table. Definitely worth purchasing if you need to do quick job.

Got this to desolder pc board connection for my vintage receiver. Worked great. I was able to easily replace a pc board lamp.

Solid price for two well sized good quality wicks.

Pretty decent but it has to be close to 800 degrees for it to even go through the wick so its hard to clean solder up there isnt as much as I thought in there the picture is definitely decieving but it was easy to use and just pull the wire out, decent quality but am most likely going to try a different brand.

Good quality solder wick and very easy to use. The flux works well and removes solder quickly and cleanly. No mess left behind. Great for small electronic repairs and good value for the price.

I've decided to try my hand at doing some electronics repairs and I'm still learning. I was fairly hesitant on ordering this kit as the price was so cheap but figured being that I am just starting out, I'd give it a try. It is safe to say this thing has put in the work. I have used this to repair numerous electronics without any issue. All the tools included seem to be of good quality and I have had no issues with them at all. Going to be using this to solder the wiring for my new radio in my car. Would definitely recommend this soldering kit.
