simplehuman, Brushed Stainless Steel, 437ml Pulse Pump

Absolutely love this soap dispenser. It looks a bit like wall-e which I think is cute. The pump mechanism is so satisfying and smooth. Genuinely enjoy using it every single time. As someone who obsessively washes their hands, I've been trying to find a suitable soap dispenser for a while and eventually whittled it down to this and the sensor version. Eventually decided on this as is significantly less expensive, the size was more suited to my requirements and I don't have to remember to charge it. Super easy to fill. Wish I'd bought it sooner.

I am very happy with the soap dispenser I have clear acrylic SimpleHuman dispenser in the bathroom for handwash And this one is used in the kitchen for dish soap They are not the cheapest dispenser on the market but the pump action is very good and highly recommended I actually tried a cheaper product in the kitchen but it dripped after use SimpleHuman have engineered a technique that draws the soap back into the bottle The stainless steel finish stays clean and so far no complaints And it does include five year warranty for peace of mind

Not great considering the cost. Rust spots started appearing after a couple of months. Received a replacement but the pump gets stuck so have to pull it back up. Not happy. ☹️

I like this dispenser. I’m just hoping it lasts longer than the last one.

Sturdy, feels like a premium product, but has a design flaw in that soap / hard water going down the crack between the plunger and the dispenser body eventually causes enough friction to prevent the spring from releasing the plunger, so you have to use two hands to hold onto the unit and physically pull the plunger back up each time you push it. Which rather defeats the point of the product. It's marketed as a unit that will last for years, but this happened to us within year one. Especially if you're in a hard water area, definitely give this one a miss.

Great product quality as can be expected with simplehuman products. However long term use shows some flaws. When using with wet hands, water pools on the flat surfaces at the top of the pump and top of the unit. With time it drips into the central pump mechanism and limescale can build up as can be seen in the photos. The pump mechanism is no longer smooth unfortunately. Also we noted some of the coating peeling off the stainless steel version after 1 year. Simplehuman were great and replaced no quibbles under the 5 year warranty within few days! Don't think the sensor pumps would have the same issue due to the way they are used, however wouldn't recommend these hand pump versions unless some changes to the design are made.

I do not recommend this dispenser. After a few months it will clog up and cleaning will not prevent the pump getting stuck in the down position. The manufacturer will not refund me despite this design fault. Very frustrating as it looks great.

Works great for a couple weeks then starts to clog up around neck and becomes fiddly to use.

Initially bought two of these for our bathrooms. The one in our main bathroom, after 1.5 years of extensive but normal use by 2 families, had some issues with the pump mechanism (photo attached). The pump would get stuck in the down position and had some of the coating being scrapped off. Read another review with similar issues and that they used the Simple Human warranty to replace it. This is where the 5 Star comes from - registered my products on the site and you can either file for a warranty claim for the full item or just have a new pump (top part) sent out for free, no questions asked, which is what I did. I respect the company for standing behind its products like this and making the customer experience solid. Just ordered one more for the kitchen.

Works well enough and dispenses a consistent amount of soap. Build quality is good. The only problem that I have is the pump mechanism's reliability. After using for a little over a month, the pump mechanism started failing. So just be wary of the poor durability of the product.

I purchased this in October 2024. For the price paid, I was expecting a better quality. The dispenser top piece broke. It started with that piece getting stuck at the bottom. I had to lift it manually until got completely detached.
