The elastic band of the mittens are too tight for a newborn..
I like all the luvlap products and I do mean it... But I am little disappointed this time, as you can see in the image, my baby has got this kind of Mark on his hand after wearing the mittens for some while. The cap is also little tight for my baby and it comes out of his head easily whenever he moves his hand. The material of the set the pure cotton and that is very good, the socks size is also okay but due to the two cons, I am giving three stars.

Pathetic quality product - DO NOT BUY
Very poor quality, didn’t expected this from LuvLap. elastic got loose for one, elastic broke out for another. Cloth quality us poor that it looks like its made from throw away cloth. Cap is so small that even knee caps won’t get covered from it, forget about baby head. I would have given minus if there was a option.
