I cannot connect it to beats studio buds by just turning it and the buds on, is there something i do wrong?

Dear friend, Please do as instructed below. 1. Toggle the switch to the "TX" end to turn on the Bluetooth transmission mode 2. Insert the Bluetooth transceiver into the AUX port of the Bluetooth transmitting device (such as a computer), press and hold the multi-function button for three seconds to turn on and enter the pairing state. 3. Turn on your receiving device (such as Bluetooth headphone/speaker) to enter pairing mode. 4. The Bluetooth transceiver and your device will automatically pair and complete the Bluetooth connection.

Can I use it on smart tv audio on my bluetooth headset?

Depends on the model of the headset if you can control it with a mobile application and pair it with the Bluetooth transceiver and plug it in your TV.

How do i pair this with bluetooth headphones? the headphones don't have any option to manually select a bluetooth connection

If they are both in pairing mode they will connect to each other. Make sure the ugreen is switched to TX
