Dab it on the bottom to load up the brush, then wipe off the excess and paint away. Then you can use the magnet to hold the brush with out flooding it with paint up to the handle. 1 US quart = 32 US fluid oz, and this is a 32 fl oz container. **Q: Does this come with the disposable liner, or it needs to be purchased separately? thx** A: Liners are NOT included...I purchased ten of them in addition to the paint pail. **Q: how much paint does this hold?** A: Just a little over a quart **Q: Are these stackable? Can you put one inside the other for storage purposes?** A: No, you can’t. On the other hand the liners can be perfectly stored inside the pail, which protects them from breaking or deforming.
