This replacement bracket is very well made.
This is a replacement for the original Moen plastic bracket that failed. This is made entirely of metal and very well made.

No gasket provided; no instructions for installation
The product looks good and hopefully will last. I am so disappointed that a premum company like Moen did not provide any instructions for installation. I bought four new components to upgarde my shower. What should have been a 5-minute installation took 2 hours, trying to find instructions online. Even Moen's DIY video didn't provide clear instructions as it said to refer to the printed instructions with the product! Couldn't find any written instructions online, either. I also had to find a proper gasket on my own as it was not included, nor any information about what type I would need. Really disappointing for this product and this price.

This is not a piece you want to use in your shower. it is CHEAP looking and very large. Find a different one, as I can assure you, you will not be happy with this

High Quality, Great Replacement Part
All metal, including the pivoting portion. Great replacement for the plastic original that cracked in half. It definitely seems like the hand held shower head will need to be replaced about a decade before this thing will fail.

Sturdy, attractive
Sturdy, attractive, and functional! This metal shower head bracket should have come with the hand shower kit rather than the plastic bracket. The A701BN is tapered to fit the handshower (the photo does not show it clearly). Problem solved for a lifetime's use.
