Can children play on this mat as they do without getting all itchy afterwards?** A: No this is not itchy at all. No Fiberglass in the construction from what I can see. **Q: Would this work under a heat pump tumble dryer as a fire retardant sheet?** A: I wouldn’t risk it. I used it for a bbq and it burnt the floor underneath within minutes **Q: Could I use this to protect my table when using a camping stove?** A: I used it to try and protect the grass under a bbq which was 12" off the ground - it didn't work, although the grass didn't catch fire or scorch it did dry up and die, so personally I would not recommend it. This man is relatively easy to dry out ' and does stop the heat from damaging your lawn ' but if you drag it along concrete with a fire pit on it does get frayed !!!
