Tech Armor Apple iPhone 7 HD Clear Ballistic Glass Screen Protector

For years I used the plastic peel and stick screen protectors for my smart phones, and during that time I was able to put them on only once without trapping any air pockets underneath. These plastic protectors only protected against scratches--if I dropped the phone face down onto anything the plastic would transfer that energy right through to the screen and break it. Every time. Ballistic glass changes the game completely. It's rigid, and when something hits its surface the force is distributed across the glass. It will absorb the energy and break if necessary to protect your screen underneath. For me, though, the best part is the install. You have to be careful to avoid dust on the screen surface and on the "adhesive" side of the screen protector, but when you have two clean surfaces you just position this over the screen, gently lie it down, and watch it almost magically adhere to the screen's surface. I especially like Tech Armor's kits because the glass is of consistently great quality, they include everything you need to install, and they've been the most trouble-free screen protectors I've ever installed, even among the glass variety. I have a Dash button just for them, because I don't need to shop around for this: I can't imagine anyone making a better product.

This review is for the Tech Armor premium ballistic glass. All of my devices are protected with Tech Armor products, so I was pretty sure I was going to like the product. The installation was easy as always. This was my first ballistic glass protector though so it was a little bit of a learning curve. The first attempt was a little bit off, and trying to remove the glass to reposition was harder than I expected. That will probably be a good point going forward. This glass does not cover the whole front of the phone, and does leave a VERY slight sliver at the edges of the visible screen unprotected so you get a little bit of a rainbow on each side when you move your phone but it is barely noticible. In fact, if the screen protector covered more of the phone my case might interfere with it. That being said, I love the feel of the glass and the responsiveness is great. Overall a 5 star product!

Great protection for my families phones. I have used Tech Armor screen protectors since my first iPhone. A few drops, even on concrete and screen is fine. Only one time did the Tech Armor screen break. Over time there is wear and tear on the glass edge, tiny notches along the edges. One thing I did not realize until recently was, to replace this glass, this glass is easily removed all in one neat and tidy cracked piece. A friend asked me about removing another brand of glass on her phone and it came of in a thousand tiny dangerous slivers. Koodos to Tech Armor for this safety feature. I bought these for an iPhone 5, 6 and 7 and will definitely purchase again when I get a new phone. Very worth the price.

It's nice, durable, slipped out fo my hands twice and neither my phone or the protective screen got so much as a scratch! As to be expected by this superior company! However, it's a bit difficult for my eyes to adjust to the "clear" screen, as the last 6 years I've been loyal to Tech Armor I ALWAYS use the *privacy* ballistic glass screen, it's darker than the regular clear screen. Even with my brightness dimmed my eyes hurt when starring at the screen, shows just how much tech armor's product has spoiled me! I was reaping a benefit I wasn't even aware of, the privacy ballistic glass was sheltering my eyes from harsh blue light rays! It's like wearing sunglasses outside, makes total sense now that I say it outloud. Could be a new sales pitch for you Tech Armor! ... You're biggest fan and loyal customer!

I have used this product for many years and it has done a great job protecting the iPhone screen. I had never truly tested the product to an extreme until recently when a phone accidentally fell off the car at highway speeds and sat on the road for a couple of hours. I found the phone and the screen protector did crack in the fall as expected but after taking it off, the iPhone screen was as good as new.

Had the Tech Armor Glass screen protector for The iPhone 6 and they worked great (for both my wife and I). And it worked great when I dropped my phone face down on concrete. But, this time around, it is peeling up from both of our iPhone 7. On mine, both top corners are peeling up. On my wife’s, it is peeling up on the sides. They both went on brand new phones and stuck well (no bubbles or misalignment)- but after a couple months on the phone, this is happening. Hopefully it was just a bad batch, but it seems a good amount of other buyers are having the same issue.

I have been buying Tech Armor for 10+ years and it's still the best quality, fit, durability and value out there. The ballistic glass is great because it's tough and has a fingerprint resistant coating that makes it easy to keep clean and allows your fingertips to slide much easier and more naturally than cheap plastic protectors. Installation is easy and forgiving, as you can remove it a couple of times if you don't align it perfectly on the first try. Removing bubbles is much easier than with plastic.

These are my favorite screen protectors because they’ve outlasted every other one I’ve tried. I am pretty hard on my phone, and though I have managed to crack these, they haven’t chipped or cracked further like others I’ve used previously. I also LOVED the snap on guiding tool they included to help with aligning the screen protector. I hung onto it thinking I would use it for future screen protector replacements, but I haven’t needed it because these have held up so well. Highly recommend.

Ich hatte bereits TechArmor Ballistic Glass HD auf meinem 6s und dort war es wie in der Abbildung zu sehen an den Kanten Abgeflacht. Dieses Produkt ist entweder eine Fälschung oder die Qualität hat sehr stark nachgelassen denn es hat jetzt gerade/scharfe Kanten.. von dem damaligen war ich begeistert und wollte deshalb auch wieder eins für mein iPhone 8 und wurde maßlos enttäuscht.. jetzt werde ich mir ein anderen Schutz für mein Display besorgen.. Es war auch kein Spachtel mehr dabei und auch keine Saugnäpfe..

El producto llegó en menos del tiempo esperado. El material del cual está hecho el es de buena calidad y es fácil de instalar. En el interior de la caja trae todas las indicaciones relativas a la instalación, paso por paso, con la intención de que no resulte tan difícil. Algo que resaltar el diseño de este protector es que respeta el espacio para un protector del teléfono por lo que no se causan levantamientos del mismo. El precio es muy competitivo. Se lo recomiendo a una persona que desee proteger su teléfono, busque una instalación sencilla y que también esté interesado en un cristal templado que respete el espacio para un protector del teléfono.

Although these are labelled for iphone 7, they are a fit for iphone 6/6s. A decent screen cleaning product and cloth are provided, do a good job of cleaning. The sticker set provided are handy to remove dust specs that appear in the seconds between cleaning and the application of the protector. Easy application and nice look and feel. Leaves enough space on the screen to allow cases to fitted without pushing up the edges of the protector. Although they only do just cover the visible lit screen. I did have one problem which was resolved promptly, the original package sent had no product inside, just the packaging. Tech Armor sent a replacement all the way from Austin in Texas, arrived within a couple of day's, their packaging was sealed unlike the original shipped from Amazon.

I needed a screen protector for my iPhone and typically stores overprice them. When it came in the mail it had a very easy to follow instruction manual with all the proper tools to make sure no mistakes were made. I tend to have very restless hands and normally do not like putting on screen protectors but, it is such a great product that I was able to put it on with ease. So far I am experiencing no issues with the screen protector it is doing its job.
