I can't rate this LED bulb on longevity because I haven't had it very long. Maybe a year from now I can, but I honestly expect to last several years, not just one. As for ease of installation, well that is more a reflection on the vehicle manufacturer than it is the bulb manufacturer. Remove 4 phillips head screws, remove the third brake light lense cover, and there's you bulb. Pop out the old, pop in the new, and put it all back together again. The bulb is much brighter than a conventional bulb, and requires less power to do so. I also like the flashing effect. It flashes a few times then goes to solid and stays solid until you release the brakes. Once you apply the brakes again, the process repeats. The whole reason third brake lights came into existence was to get drivers attention, and alert them you were slowing down or stopping. Now that they have been out 20-30 years, drivers are getting complacent again. This light flashing brightly a few times before going solid red helps get their attention again. I don't want anybody hitting me from the rear, or any direction for that matter. I think these bulbs are a great safety addition to my truck. If it helps prevent one accident, then it was worth the price...and I might add that these two packs of bulbs were pretty cheap to begin with. I hear they are illegal in some states, so you might want to check your local laws before you buy if you want. Me personally I don't care if they are legal or illegal... I am using them anyway. if some cop decides to write me a ticket for having them installed...well I'll take it, but they will remain. I like these bulbs and they serve a good purpose.

​I bought this FANTELI LED bulb to replace a burned-out factory high-mount third brake light on my 2014 Ram 1500, and it is a nice upgrade.It is bright and way more noticeable than the incandescent filament bulb it replaced. Because the light itself emits a brilliant red (instead of the white of the old bulb shining through a red lens), the color is a much deeper and richer red.​It provides great eye-catching safety; when you first hit the brakes, it rapidly flashes three times before staying solid. It instantly grabs the attention of drivers behind you, alerting them that you're stopping.​One thing to keep in mind for Ram owners: the truck's "bulb out" warning system does not recognize the low power draw of the LED light on its own. To fix this and clear the dash error, I had to order and install a Diode Dynamics inline plug-and-play resistor.​The bulb itself is a direct replacement for the stock 921 bulb. Combined with the inline Resistor it is a nice modern upgrade.

Great upgrade! So many people have complimented on these light. The strobe effect is great in foggy conditions. Very easy to install and fits perfectly! Bright red strobe is visible in all conditions.

I really liked these LED flashing 3rd brake lights for my 91 Honda CRX-Si. They worked for an entire year, ± a couple of days. I will order again unless I find some with longer life.UPDATE: the vendor reached out and offered to send me a replacement set or refund. I opted for the refund to pay for the replacement (same item) I already purchased. Rating updated from 3 stars to 4 for the good customer service. If the lights last the full advertised 5 years, the rating will change to 5 stars.

These bulbs fit perfectly, they replace the original bulb with no issues. When you step on the brake this bulb flashes 3 times before stay solid red, which I like as a safety feature for more visibility. The bulb is bright and easily seen during the brightest of days. I recommend this bulb as a replacement to the OEM bulb.

Work as advertised. The LED is red. Even though it is red, in a red lense they are still bright enough to work well.

I've bought various brands of LED lights for various vehicles. Nearly all fit the vehicles as ordered and functioned well on install. And everyone seems to write e review only on install. Sure. They all work and look great.The trick is to find a brand that has longevity. The plethora of XYZ Ltd. Chinese companies stamping these bulbs out by the millions is completely bewildering. In this case, competition seems to breed poor quality for a cheap price. So many of them are so crappy, when they quite after a few months of their "100,000 hours lifespan", you curse a few times, throw them out and order a different unknown brand and take another chance.These guys offer a 5 year warranty that I activated on their website a few minutes ago. Beats me how to make a claim if I have to.I would really rather pay more if I could trust that I won't be swearing at them in 3 months when they are flickering.On initial simple install on the center brake light of my 2002 Suzuki Gran Vitara XL7, the lights flash 3 times and come on nice and bright...just as the company promises. Now we wait...EDIT: Nearly 2 years later and they are working flawlessly!!EDIT: 2 years later. 1 of the 2 has quit. One side of the bulb is a dull red glow. I put the OEM bulb back in and ready to swap out the other when it goes. The SUV is driven little so these LED have seen little use. Typical Chinese quality LED. 30,000 hours???? Sure. Maybe 30,000 minutes. GARBAGE.EDIT: 2 years 2 months. The second one has died. I've reinstalled what are likely the original incandescent bulbs from 2002 model year Suzuki Grand Vitara. $12 each for these LED flashers. 2 years at 50% highway use on 12,800 kms total use. Save your money. Buy something else.

Bought these for my 2013 GM Silverado/SierraI've been rear ended twice, hopefully this will reduce the chances of that happening again.The high mounted light assembly is easily removed with a T20 torx screwdriver.The bulb sockets just twist to removed, and then just pull the brake bulbs out.***** I was unable to insert these new bulbs, the end that you insert into the socket is blunt and jams up against the contacts in the socket, the glass bulbs have a rounded point.I took a fine file and tapered the contact end of these bulbs so that they would now go between the contacts in the socket with a bit of wiggling.Cleaned the gasket surfaces of the light assembly and the cab body before reinstalling.They operate exactly as I expected, 3 clear flashes then solid on when brakes are applied.How long the perform, I don't know, this is the first day.

Very bright! Been using them for over 2 years and still going strong. Love the strobe feature, definitely stands out.
