No drama, no loose connections, just pure, unadulterated data transfer. If cables could file taxes, these would be early and error-free. Buy a few, forget them, then thank them every time your system boots like a champ.

I wanted SATA cables that have a retaining clip at each end. I couldn't be sure from the photos if that was the case with these, but they do in fact have a retaining clip at each end of every cable, so I'm a happy camper. They look pretty, are relatively flexible, and are true to their description in length. I couldn't ask for more.

Cheaper SATA cables often have plastic latches that can break, either making it difficult to remove the cable or impossible to keep it seated. These have a metal latch that is unlikely to break, and the connector plastic is thick and rigid, so a little tension won't damage it. The cable is flexible but rigid enough that it retains its shape well, and while it's a little thick for threading through tight spaces, I found it reasonably easy to route where I wanted it. As a nice bonus, the cables come in a good zipper bag that makes it easy to store the extras without worrying they'll tangle with every other cable in the box or drawer. They're also nice-looking, if that's important to you.
