Can the manufacturer tell me the cable length?

The cable length is 1.5 metres.

Just plugged mouse in but not working !!! The buttons work that’s about it , do I need to do anything else ????

If the buttons are working, I assume you mean that they respond to touch. If that is so, then maybe the connection isn't sound. I have a pc, not a laptop. If you have a pc, double-check the wire and connecting head from the mouse is firmly attached to the wire and connecting head coming from the consul. I find that the connecting head at the end of cables need to be plugged in the right way up in order to work. If the mouse still doesn't work, then best to refer back to the Seller. Warranty conditions leaflet states what needs to be done if there is a defect.

It's a regular usb that fits into a PC or laptop.
