Hmm, this is a door / gate hook which you might expect to use outside maybe for a fence gate or in my case to hold a hut door open. It works really well for this, and is on the face of it a good quality product. So what is the issue I hear you say ?? Well it starts to rust quite quickly. I’ve had to run off some orange corrosion with WD40 and give a wipe down with some oil to try and avoid it rusting again. How long it will last is questionable, so be aware. If using inside then no problem and will be a good product to use.

Excellent sturdy hooks, just the right size and fit, I have 2 gates on my house, when the wind blows they slam shut potentially damaging the £450 gates, these hooks and eyes for a few pounds holds the gates solid, even in high winds. Best few pounds I’ve spent in a long time..

Value for money. Bought to secure Summerhouse doors. Easy to fit. Good quality. Look good and do the job. Seem powder coated so should last and not rust. Wall plugs and different sized screws to enable to fix to a wall or smaller for just wood supplied. Arrived on time, as advertised and well packaged. Very pleased.

The hooks are of reasonably quality but are let down by one thing - they won’t stay in place. The design of the hook means it slips out of the eye too easily. We have been able to keep the doors latched by putting a plastic peg in the gap between the hook and the eye. Not ideal, but it works.

Easy to fit strong latch for keeping door shut

Easy to fit and works very well. wea are using the latch to keep our gate held open. Works fine for this reason and looks like it is strong enough to last for many years.
