I have stupid hair and I hate it and it hates me. It doesn't know if it's curly or straight, which means it's pretty much frizzy 90% of the time unless it's the middle of 100F summer with 10% humidity. No, wait... nope.. usually not even then. The second I sweat even 1 iota, the hair I spent time smoothing and blowdrying or even flat-ironing is all like PFFFFFFT and I am transformed into Yahoo Serious from that 80s movie Young Einstein. I shed a lot of my hair a while back from telogen effluvium and have been terrified of abusing it ever since. (It feels like it never truly all grew back in - you can see that it is quite visibly less full in the back - my old ponytail holders are too loose now.) So most of the time I wash it and let it air dry since silicones, as well as heat tools, are supposed to mess up your hair in the long run and yadda yadda. This air-drying results in the front of my head still lookin like an electrified Pomeranian and the back mostly straight but somehow picking up all of the static electricity on earth. In my search for a hair oil that did not contain any dimethicone or other boogey-men, I came across this one and gave it a shot. I bought it to both help hair growth and also for the “repairs and reduces breakage” as printed on the bottle. Using it on wet hair (or using a drop or two on dry hair) didn't quite achieve anything tame-wise, BUT putting a couple of drops into a dollop of conditioner in my hand and stirring it around with my finger before massaging it through my stupid evil hair (and over my scalp) and then rinsing it out actually did something quite lovely. My hair is still a pain in the butt, don't get me wrong, and it still seems to have two completely different hair types depending on the geographical angle of my scalp you're looking at, but using the oil in my conditioner seems to make the front hair dry with less Albert-einstein-esque fervor and more like wavy loose spirals, and the back seems heavier and smoother without looking greasy. I apply a few drops right into my scalp before bed as well. I will update as my hair grows out if it feels like it’s growing in thicker. UPDATE 6/4/23: I have a good 4+ inches of hair growing all over my head, especially at the hairline where it was sparse before. When it started falling out with the telogen effluvium, I griped about it constantly and everyone was like “nooooo you’re crazy I don’t see anything” (which, come on now, we all know that means “I sort of see it but I think you want me to reassure you”), then a month later it was “noooo it’s not THAT bad, you’re fine” and a few months later I KNEW it was bad because everyone was like “hrmmmmm I see what you mean - have you tried biotin/protein/collagen/etc?”. The hair loss stops eventually with TE, and some hair grew back, but it was never as full again and my hairline was sparse ESPECIALLY in the sunlight which was like “I WILL SHOW ALL OF YOUR BALD SPOTS MUWAHAHAHA”. A good year and a half passed and that last bit of hair just still was MIA when I broke down and bought this oil. It’s been 9 months of use and I am very glad to say that I have hairs growing all over my head - I practically have long wispy bangs at this point since there was so much hairline growth that needed to regrow. Very happy!

Alopecia runs in my family, and my hair started thinning around my edges and the crown of my head. I started using this product and it helped my hair grow. Unfortunately, AMAZON does not sell this product anymore.

Really good oil I love it, four stars for the oil, I been buying it for years from Amazon but on my last two orders one came broken and empty like if nothing was spilled the second one came in open with a different oil wasn’t even sealed I believe they selling something different with the same bottle I’m going to start ordering from the original website.

I purchased this in December. It has about 2 drops full left in it. I have mixed coils & curls. My first time using this it felt like it was burning my scalp. It was a burning feeling not tingling. No redness or burn mark on my scalp. I started applying to my hair only. It has moisturized my dry area which is mostly my coils. It helped grow back my edges. It did not do anything for the overall length. When u first apply it there’s like a nasty strong medicine smell to it. However after a long while the fragrance is almost floral. Being that this helped moisturize my hair I use less hair products to keep moisture in. Will purchase again. I do recommend this product for someone who wants to grow their edges & moisturize dry hair.

So, at first, I absolutely loved using this product. It felt so nice to use and the smell was wonderful. I let it sit in my hair and then I washed it out as I found instructions to do so. But after a little while of using the product, it actually made my scalp itchier. I had originally gotten it because I thought I had dry scalp, but I found out later that I actually had sebum buildup that was causing itching and some hair loss. This kind of product makes a sebum buildup worse. It was no fault of the product. It you have a dry scalp this may be the product for you. Just know that there may be hair/scalp problems that this product isn't right for. For other problems it may be perfect. Just do your research or see a doctor. I just wish I could use this product because it's so nice. Some things just weren't meant to be.

I’m halfway done wifi my second. This oil is very lightweight and doesn’t smell bad. I like the dropper to target my scalp. I’ve been using it 3-4 times a week over night. I see that my hair is less dry at the roots and doesn’t fall out as much, but I’m still experiencing little hair loss. I targeted the oil on the areas of my scalp that tends to lose the most hair. The sparse hair is still visible.. I don’t see much growth in the bald spots. However it keeps my hair stronger. There’s less hair loss and I could tell in the shower. But it definitely helped mg hair grow very long very fast. I just wish it made it thicker

Been suffering from hair loss from compulsive aggressive itching due to seborrheic dermatitis. The dermatitis cleared up using other products but I was left with persistent dandruff and noticeable thin hair in certain places, especially my edges which I had apparently torn out. Being a 19 year old girl and my hair being my crowning glory and all that I was really upset. I read the reviews on this and decided to take a chance (I didn't really trust the types of products that are always being promoted by influencers) and I could not have made a better decision. My edges are coming back and I think they're even thicker than before! And because of this I can only assume the rest of my hair is growing too but because my hair is quite long it is hard to tell. it certainly does feel like it has increased root strength which i desperately needed. It has also helped to calm and moisturise my dry scalp with reduced itching which is a big plus for me. Remember that these things take time to work but I was not expecting such results in a small amount of time (approx 2-3 weeks). The applicator helps get the oil on your scalp instead of all down your hair which means you can apply some and leave the house without worrying about your hair looking greasy. I'm starting to get the confidence to wear my hair in styles again as my thin patches aren't nearly as noticeable. Will buy again once my bottle runs out!
