Gets the job done
Fixed my compressor's leak problem. Well not 100%, but the remaining leak is very slow and is likely happening elsewhere. I'm good now, because my compressor might self-cycle once every hour as opposed to once every 5-10 minutes. For my occasional use, that's totally acceptable. I did have to dismantle more than I was expecting, because my pancake tank didn't have enough clearance to directly attach this. I had to remove the main assembly and gauge to be able to screw this in. Others commented about a lack of instructions. Mine has an arrow on the back that showed the direction of airflow, and it does not seem to leak air.

Appears to be of good quality
So far so good. Great airflow. Using it on a 175psi compressor. No leaks.

Works great
Replaced a poor regulator setup on my Husky 26gallon "quiet" compressor. There's an arrow on the bottom of the regulator to indicate flow direction (inferring in/out ports). The 2nd gauge plug was not sealed very well so I'd check yours/add sealant before putting into operation. Note the gauge shown is not the one included. My only complaint, is that the turndown ratio is really low, meaning you have to turn this regulator MANY times to go from 0 to your target pressure (or pressure down to zero). As someone who always turns the regulator down at the end of the day this is annoying. Great for precision adjustment but not so great for course adjustment.

Nice, quality unit. Takes some effort to install
This is a nice upgrade over most common inexpensive regulators. I would buy it again if need be. It seems to be nicely made and is easy to adjust. I have not tested the flow but assume that it meets the specs. The regulator comes without the gauge installed. There is a cap in one port and a plug in another. Half the users could remove the cap and screw in the regulator. The other half will want to move the plug so that the regulator can be installed upside down or configured the input on the right. It takes a 5mm hex wrench to remove and replace the plug. As for installing the gauge, it is needlessly difficult because there is not much space between the body of the regulator and the back of the gauge. What is needed is about a 1/2", thin profile open end wrench. Thin profile means less than 1/4" thick. I was hoping to find one in my set of ignition wrenches but they only went up to 3/8. My smallest adjustable wrench, with a handle less than 4" long, was still too big. I ended up doing it, barely, with an old pair of needle nose pliers. After installation I changed my mind and wanted a different fitting on one side. In the process of cleaning up the threads it became obvious they come from the factory painted. I would prefer bare aluminum but maybe this is a zinc casting or something that needs corrosion protection.

Compressor pressure gauge
Very top quality pressure gauge

Works great
Easy to install, used short hose to help with vibration instead of hooking directly to compressor tank.

Do NOT buy!
Did not last six months. Regulator failed, adjuster failed, just sat there and leaked air. Yes, I had a water trap and a filter immediately upstream. Bought a different replacement make from Lowe’s. It too failed after less than six months. Going to buy an all metal Parker (the real USA made Parker, beware the China copy sold here on Amazon with “Parker” in its name). I can’t risk all these cheap plastic regulators failing and ruining a paint job.

Minor leak at output, but worked for sprinkler blowout
This had very minor leak on the output side (even with teflon tape) but it worked well for me to regulate air out of a portable tank (that doesn't have a regulator) for blowing out my sprinkler lines. Also, since the leak was on the output side, it only leaked when the regulator was open, there was no observed leakage when the regulator was closed which is much more important to me. Pressures seemed to be somewhat accurate based on the behavior of my sprinklers, but I don't have a way to check super precisely if that's important to you.

As described, appears to be a very good casting and good machining, it appears to be well worth the money. Only complaint is the gauge, it's threaded undersize and I couldn't use it as it would bottom out on the wrench flats before tightening up on the threads even using teflon tape. I ended up buying another guage, it was definitely the gauge that was machined wrong as I tried multiple fittings in the regulator and they fit well. I also tried the gauge in my old regulator and it would bottom out on that as well.
