I held off on writing a review until I had some time to test it out. Works great, has a great beam, and is really bright. Very easy to install and I would absolutely recommend this for anyone who wants to upgrade their maglite. I bought a second one as I use one 4 D-Cell to walk the dog and keep a 4 D-Cell in my truck. The old incandescent light bulbs and small replacement LED bulbs are useless. The quality is very good and it's worth the money, its not cheap but quality never is. I use it every morning and every night when I walk the dog to protect myself from Chupacabras, Zombies, and Skunk Apes (I live in Florida). You do lose the ability to focus the beam, but I dont miss it. Brightness setting all work great and it automatically turns on the same brightness setting you turned it off.
