Gibraltar SC-CMBAC Medium Cymbal Boom Attachment Clamp

Gibraltar has and continues to make some of the best drum hardware available. I am endlessly impressed by their quality and durability. This boom is no exception. Great piece! I got it to mount a splash between my toms and it has been standing solid ever since I attached it. Highly recommend their gear.

Sturdy and well made. Only minor gripe are the felts. Wish they were firmer. Other than that, great product.

Excellent product

I have an Alesis DM10 X electronic drum kit that needed some modification. I like having my ride cymbal at a further distance than what the stock hardware was allowing. So I needed an extended boom to suite mu needs. I ordered this boom arm with that in mind. The hardware is about what you would expect from Gibraltar with a nice solid feel and heft to it. Definitely more solid than the stock hardware you get with the electronic kits. So the hardware quality is top notch, but there are two limitations: - The size of the Gibraltar boom stand is slightly larger than what the drum rack can accept. So I just took the boom arm off and added it to the electronic set's arm stand. With some loosening it fits perfectly fine. So I have a stand base that I can't use, but that's a small price to pay. For any of you looking to modify your set like me look for the Gibraltar Boom Arm for Drum Racks. It may be a better fit. - The length of the boom arm isn't quite as long as I wanted. Now this one is on me. If there is a longer boom out there I recommend double checking on that if you are like me.

Well made and very versatile. It's multiple adjustment options allowed me to tuck a cymbal into a very small space, exactly where I wanted it. Great product at a great price!

Gibraltar makes quality drum and cymbal hardware. This one gripped the 1/2" in diameter L rod and was able to withstand the impact on a 10 inch splash cymbal. I had to return it to Amazon.ca for a refund because the arm was not long enough to have the cymbal clear the 10 inch mounted tom. No fault on Amazon.ca because this was an arm not available in the showrooms of neighourhood music stores where I could bring the arm home to try it. Therefore, Amazon.ca was the most popular shopping site to purchase in stock hardware.

Se trata de una abrazadera para fijar nuestros platos a otro pie ya existente, evitando así tener que comprar un nuevo pie para un plato como el Splash, que al ser de pequeño tamaño y peso, no necesita mucho más alla de un brazo con abrazadera. Yo en mi caso lo uso para un Splash de 10'. Esta contruido en materiales metálicos de calidad. Las roscas, herrajes y articulaciones de este brazo resisten al uso y de momento no veo inconveniente para recomendarlo, siempre teniendo en cuenta que debería usarse con platos no muy grandes y de poco peso. Espero que mi opinión os sirva de utilidad. Gracias por leerme.
