Have had some of the same pairs working on farm and being truck driver for 6 or so years.... Now they're much thinner and not as rigid, but depends what your doing... casual everyday yes... blue collar work no **Q: what is the difference between fit of 517 and 527?** A: 517 are wider all around. Thighs are similar to a straight cut. Lower calf area flares wider, easily fits over larger or heavily padded boots. 527 are slim at the thighs and slightly flare out. Can fit over some high top sneakers, but not really over winter boots or similar heavily padded boots. **Q: Is it normal to have nicks in the fabric on the cuff?
