Works great on my U shaped window unit
I used this on my indoor window AC (U shaped) and it worked perfectly. My ac unit didn't smell bad (no mildew or anything like that), but it didn't smell clean either, if that makes sense. This has a clean, almost citrus-y scent and foams up as soon as it hits the fins on the coils. I was worried because it doesn't come with a straw to direct the spray but it comes out in a straight stream and is easy to aim. I let it sit for the recommended amount of time and then rinsed with distilled water. If it was full on summer with humidity I wouldn't have even needed that last step because the condensation would have rinsed it off. I was expecting bad times because of the warning label but it wasnt bad at all and I just left the bathroom fan running. Definitely would recommend for window AC units if you can easily reach the inside coils.

You will need the 3 pack
Yes you will need all three cans to do an outdoor unit. Seems to work well and the rinse off didnโt kill the plants surrounding the outdoor unit. Taking all the panels off the unit to get to the coils was the real challenge. Spray came out the can easily and foamed. It did remove easily with water and had no really harsh smell.

Works great on 3 ton unit
Works great. We had to use all 3 cans on our 3 ton unit, probably could have used a 4th but 3 did a good job. Sprayed on and you can literally see the dirt coming out immediately. Let it sit til it wasn't as foamy and rinsed clean with water hose. I will continue to purchase and use at least once a year.

All of the product was able to be expelled from each can
Watched a few videos before making this purchase. The day of cleaning, I removed the top of the ac unit along with the side covers. Lightly vacuumed the coils and bottom and then sprayed the inner and outer coils with the cleaner. It didn't seem to spray out and foam as much as what I watched in the videos but it did appear to work at getting the grime to the surface. Afterwards (15 min), I hosed off the coils several times and they looked pretty clean. Overall I'm satisfied with this product, the citrus scent was not overwhelming and I went through 3 full cans to do my 3 1/2 ton condenser.

Cleaning the coils on a heat pump.
worked great. My heat pump is 29 years old and I'm doing everything I can to keep it going. The fan motor was going out so while I was replacing it I cleaned the coils. A lot of stuff came out. Hopefully I can get a few more years out of it.

Great cleaner, part of our maintenance schedule.
We have used this on outdoor and interior components of our "minisplit" system. Works very well. Excellent aerosol can that has distributed all of the product evenly. Foam is not too noxious and does a great job breaking down dust and moldy crud from the interior blower (Plastics), and metalic fins . We recently re-ordered another 3 can batch. ( 3 cans so far have washed up 6 heads and 3 exterior units). We have moved to wash with light water afterwards (Spray soak and wait 20-30 mins for foam to soak/ and melt away, then low pressure spray with warm water and the goop flushed clear ). Using a HVAC raincoat/funnel and hand pump seems good)

Works as stated
Worked well followed the instructions for once and it did what it said it was going to do dissolve the dirt and then I just sprayed it off.

Keep those coils clean!
This stuff works great!...having a retired uncle in the HVAC, he tought me to make sure the condensor & coils were always in tip top shape, in doing so keep them clean. Although he didnt use this stuff, he was on the commercial side - i tried it and can tell it works great.

foam cleaner works great
used 2 cans to spray on my outdoor ac unit, foam works its way into the fins really well before I did the final rinse with a garden hose on light spray
