COPASLIP - High Temperature Copper Grease

I bought this to lube the turn screw on my fireplace damper door. It works well and the heat from the fires don't affect the lube. Love it!

Our wood burning stove door handle started to squeak recently and it was really annoying. We read up on this issue and discovered you can't use WD 40 or other non high heat spray. A little dab of this goes a long way. The only thing I wish it came in black because the copper color is noticeable on the black stove door.

a single tube is more than I'll ever need. i use it like thermal paste between threads of things that should be very hot. heater cartridges on 3d printers, strange soldering iron tips, extruder nozzles, heatbreaks. probably not the intended use, but does not harden like regular thermal paste.

I used this on a fireplace damper screw that would seize up when opening or closing the damper. Even though the screw mechanism was rusted and covered with soot and pine tar, this compound helped free up the mechanism such that the damper could be opened and closed with less effort. (I say "less" effort because the installation of the damper control on this fireplace made opening and closing the damper difficult even if there was no rust and seizing issues.) It seems impervious to having a fire in the fireplace, so it's high-temperature characteristics function as needed.

Very good stuff. Just careful not to get it on your wheels as it can stain them.

I used it for my oven hinges that were creaking horribly. It was very easy to apply and solved the problem, So far, I've had no issues with it at all. No more noisy door. The temperature rating is probably overkill for a home oven, but no harm in being extra safe, right?

A little on the heavier side ; so it doesnt go absolutely everywhere like the slimier versions do

Wish this came in a bigger container. High temp properties. Helps prevent rust. Doesn’t harden like other ones. Saves time and money in the long run when used properly.
