Is the hammer magnetic?

There is a small magnet at the top which can be used to hold a nail but the entire head is not magnetic

Does it have a milled face? Waffle pattern? Not Smooth?

I just checked mine to make certain, the one I have is very smooth. There is no pattern of any kind. You can purchase milled hammers but this one (at least back when I bought it) was not milled. I hope this helps!
